Buffalo_Stampede Posted Monday at 07:07 PM Posted Monday at 07:07 PM The media is driving me crazy this week with the Barkley, Henry, and Jacobs talk. The teams they went to would be good without them. I love how the media just forms any narrative they want. Quote

Philly has been shaky but Barkley has consistently kept them in games and put them away. Jacobs was how GB was able to sustain Loves injury. Without that Willis wasnt winning those games. Henry has opened up the passing game for Lamar. Believe he is posting his best passing numbers of his career. Those poor teams cant see the forest from the trees. They “cant” afford to pay those guys. Yet 3 teams with max Qb contracts could. Mara was correct with his feeling of the situation in real time. The Giants let the best player and face of the franchise leave to a division rival with nothing to show for it. The new GM will gain a comp pick for the move though. You cant pay Rbs is rhetoric. You can’t pay average players star money. The high end rb market is less than every other positional group. With 2 high saftey and nickel base defense having the ability to run is as important as ever. Spewing PFF roster building philosophy while making real decisions is comical at best. Quote

That’s not the narrative they’re pushing. The Giants, Titans, and Raiders aren’t going to be good teams if they somehow kept their talented RB. Keeping Barkley wouldn’t change a single thing with the Giants. Quote

I think it goes to show how those teams are in the positions they are currently. Those franchises have made many decisions like that. Extending Jones and franchising Barkley. That money you keep Williams and Mckinney. Now you have a good defense. They have been run like the drought era Bills. Reasons why the best player has to leave and you draft their replacement that at best is 50% as productive. Quote

They could’ve signed Jones, Barkley, and McKinney. Barkley and McKinney equal like 10 million in cap hits this year. What are we talking about here? They’d still be a bad football team as well because they don’t have a QB. They should’ve done everything in their power to draft a QB this year. Edited Monday at 08:59 PM by Buffalo_Stampede Quote

I mean it's just blunder after blunder constantly digging a huge hole for themselves which sadly for those fans only gets deeper and deeper. Quote

Sorry, I don’t buy them as a real contender. The media on the West Coast loves Sean Payton, and it’s the current darling story to push Nix over Daniels. Come Playoffs, nobody is scared of Courtland Sutton, Vele and Lil’ Jordan Humphrey, with McLaughlin as your starting running back. Quote
