They are not a great team in the sense that they dominate their opponents, it's the fact that they just find wins. I’m not seeing it personally…couple of these ‘finding a way to win’ type games have been absolute flukes this year and they’ve got obvious big time exploitable flaws for the first time I can remember.  Still definitely a threat to win it all no doubt but I don’t think it’s even close to the best chiefs team we’ve seen.  The depth is pretty bad too if they get another long term injury on defense they’re in a lot of trouble 

 

feels like people are a bit blinded by their past history which makes a lot of sense I can understand that, last year they had a bunch of role players step up in the playoffs maybe the same happens here but I doubt Morris and Taylor will turn it around.

They do have some exploitable flaws right now. But…the first time?

 

People have said this every year. Mahomes’ first few seasons, it was their defense wasn’t good enough. In 2020 it was their OL and lack of a running game. In 21, they had a losing record halfway through the year and pundits said they wouldn’t make the postseason. The next year it was the loss of Tyreek and a weak receiving corps/green defense. And last year it was awful WR play and Mahomes not playing to his usual standard.

Again look up the difference between the 89 49ers and 90 49ers. KC is running out of gas. 

 

They deserve the respect as champions and Mahomes greatness should get the benefit of the doubt.
