The entire nation has their panties in a knot about the dumbest things, sometimes. We need to go back to the 90s when nobody cared about anything! When comedy was funny. When you could make fun of anyone and they could make fun of you. Good times. I would disagree with you on the comedy part. There's a lot of good comedy out there right now. Quote

That's not what is going on lol Do they pay them to stand on the field and pretend to shoot rifles in front of national television audiences? If they think that the demographic that they are trying to expand into does not love firearms, they will not want gun play on their fields. It's not as dramatic or expansive as you want to make it. I can't think of the last time I was dying to see a new movie. My daughter dragged me out to see "Wicked" this weekend. The Bills had a bye, so I had a spare 3 hours in my schedule this weekend, and I love my kid, so I took her. The whole time, all I could think of is "when is this going to end?" so I could go home and watch some football (or read a book, or walk around the block, or clean the house....) To the original point, Wicked the movie is not an original story. It's an adaption of a musical. To me, musicals are much better on stage, when you can enjoy and be impressed by a live performance. As far as the Mahomes fine, I get it and understand why they're doing it, but it does seem a bit silly. I saw the gesture live during the game and it didn't even occur to me what it was. I'm not a gun guy, but I don't see how his hand gesture presented a legitimate threat to anyone. 2 Quote
