We’ve played 3 Championship games with them, currently down 2 games to 1. They ended our chance at a 3peat in ‘66 & ended our season in 2020. We clobbered them in ‘93 to go to our 4th straight Super Bowl.

That '93 game was something else. Very impressive win, should have been followed up with a SB win. But alas...

When Montana got knocked out, it was kind of sad but also amazing to feel the tide turn.

I was also there when the Jaguars ended Kelly’s career and that was the exact opposite feeling of everything coming to an end.

I hear ya on the Jags game. As soon as Kelly got knocked out and Todd Collins came in my  dad said we’re outta here. Can’t believe we lost that game.

Me too. Still smile thinking of the championship game, still hurts to think about that SB.

The 1966 Championship game was heartbreaker for a little kid.

We could of went to the first "Superbowl", though it wasn't called that back then.

In 5th grade and could not believe they lost!

The 93 team is underrated and felt like a super bowl win was inevitable. The 90 team was similar. I had a horrible feeling playing Washington and Dallas in 91/92.

I still think if Thurman doesn't fumble, they score and go up 20-6 and hang on for the title.

The 93 bills were very physical and won a lot of close games. It was probably their best defense in the Kelly era. The 96 defense was really good too.

I still don't understand how they fell off in 94. I know the Steelers were ascending but that was kinda it. Shanahan wasn't in Denver yet and buffalo still had all their guys mostly in the prime. I know Talley was aging but they drafted good lbs in 94 and had depth. Random. I will concede that defenses started to really catch up to the no huddle as it wasn't a novelty anymore

I remember watching frank Reich vs the Patriots at the end in 94, and was like what the hell lol.

Playing in the Super Bowl 4 consecutive years is a lot of extra wear and tear.  It catches up to you after awhile.  Kelly was already showing some signs of decline by then.  The Offensive Line had been shuffled around a bit by then and was not on the same level as it was a few years prior.  Not to mention the mental drain those guys must have been carrying around after 4 SB losses.

They ran so well vs KC in the AFC championship. Really mind boggling they couldn't get the title.

That year was definitely their 2nd best shot at it after the Giants Super Bowl

We were really dominating that game up until the fumble.  You could see the entire team deflate after that fumble - it was just "here we go again," and they never recovered.

I think if Norwood's kick was good and we win that one (and I'm not blaming Norwood), we probably win 3 out of the 4.  It became a psychological hurdle.  I remember one Bills player saying 'we don't want to be Denver" before the 2nd SB, and unfortunately, we actually surpassed that. No one thinks of Denver's futility now.  We are the standard bearer.

Josh will change the course of that narrative. I'm sure of it.

I don't think anyone wouldve beat the 91 Washington team. That was one of the greatest teams I've ever seen.

I always think of my RIP 🙁 grandfather before that game.

He was a Bills fan, but said I hear this Mark Brunell is a real Buzz Saw!

An old expression you don't hear anymore.

Little did we know what a finality that game would be.

Miss you Pop!

I was at that game in 66, knew it was the end for what was a great team. It just got worse, 1968 1-12-1, culminating in drafting OJ. Only win came against eventual Superbowl winner Jets, was at that game too.
