The unstated truth is,

if they were 'afraid to pick him as VP because he is Jewish, and would 'offend the radical left,

Would he really have a chance to win the democrat presidential nomination ??

Did not think about that, but probably true.

He's Jewish. They will lose the free free Palestine vote

Valid point. I still think that he is the best of that list and also realize that this is a very low bar. The fact that Harris is at 45% shows me that the poll will drastically change. She did what was seemingly unthinkable just a few months ago by losing to Trump in a landslide. Between that and the recent drunken rant, she isn't getting anywhere near that nomination again even if she wanted to.  The list will look very different in two years. Most likely a younger moderate house member or governor with a track record or working across the aisle will emerge for them.

Seth Moulton, Wes Moore, Jared Polis - it'll be interesting to see which one gets the early buzz.

Will there be a primary? Or does Kamala automatically get it because otherwise we are racist misogynistic Nazis?

New Jersey will be a swing state in 2028.

It's a special. Don't read anything into it.

Democrats need find a candidate that is not well known, has some charisma, and does have a long track record in the public eye.

With the exception of President Biden and LBJ, that's what they've won with in my lifetime.  JFK Carter Clinton Obama

We'll see if they can pull it off.
