Remember Daniel Jones was a failure as the "Temu Josh Allen". He can use his legs, but he can't operate from a muddy pocket or buy time to make the throw. He's OK if you give him a short quick passing game well supported by a strong run game, and he can get you the first down on occasion, but he's far from a "Josh Allen style QB" Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted November 29 Posted November 29 (edited) Daniel Jones played poorly to get benched and cut because he wanted to stay home on Thanksgiving and not play. He manipulated the whole situation and sits laughing eating pumpkin pie while his old teammates get slapped around by the Cowboys. Edited November 29 by BuffaloBillyG 2 Quote

He's had to do it a lot, even when he was the starter. Quote

There's a chance they move on from him after this year, but I still think it's probably more likely they approach him for a paycut which he accepts, if anything at all. They like him in the QB room, regardless of what fans think of his Pre-Season performance. Daniel Jones probably isn't happening and Aaron Rodgers ABSOLUTELY isn't happening. Even if they released him, which they won't. At most, they're going to IR him for the rest of the year. Rodgers wouldn't sign on to be a backup and Buffalo wouldn't want that kind of ego and loose cannon in the press in their QB room to begin with. Especially with how beat up he is and how badly he's been playing this year. I'd imagine they view the QB room is set this year with Mitch Trubisky and Mike White as Josh's backups. I don't see them bringing along someone new this late in the season. As much as fans bemoan Trubisky, there's a good many teams that are way worse behind their starter than Trubisky and White. And I don't believe the Buffalo decision makers view Trubisky in the same light that posters do. Especially with the contract they gave him. You do know I was only bullsheeting, when I made that facetious comment, Right? 1 Quote
