I think he probably is looking for a mix of.... want a legit shot at the Superbowl and want a legit shot at starting... Clearly, coming here is isnt gonna start over Allen, Darnold is on a short term deal, he probably has a better shot at starting there next year than any other legit playoff team... maybe the Steelers... but I think Fields is gonna get a chance at somepoint... plus he gets to play with Jefferson.

Not only that,  the Vikes really like JJ and he might even bump Darnold outta there. Not sure where Jones fits in, other then to give them an insurance policy for this season.
