Yikes. re-signing him was bad, what has followed was entirely predictable. 1 minute ago, SoonerBillsFan said: I say bring him in. Why? He's terrible. He was replaced by a local sandwich. 3 2 10 Quote
Coffeesforclosers Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well, you can't say nobody saw this coming. Dabol and Schoen won't be far behind. 8 2 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Wow. I guess he has spat his dummy in some way, or else why do this now rather than after the season? 1 Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He's not coming here. Mitch is buds with Josh. That's the top qualification for Bills backup QB. 2 2 8 Quote
Cash Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Wow, mid-season. Didn't see that coming. Agree, definitely a bad look for the team all around. I would include ownership in that mix. 2 Quote
RunTheBall Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I don’t think we bring this guy in. McBeane love them some continuity and Mitch knows the offense (even if he probably can’t execute it) haha 1 1 1 Quote
Beast Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Bad look doing this unless Jones asked to be released. 3 1 Quote

Sojourner Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 1 minute ago, Logic said: This whollle thing is not a great look for Schoen and Daboll. Yikes. Im in the opposite camp. I actually give them credit for a completely bullish move on from Jones and the failings. Probably their best chance to show the Mara/Tisch ownership they made an egregious mistake hitching their wagon to the QB. Hopefully it comes out as to whom, ownership or Daboll/Schoen, was responsible for handing him that contract. 1 Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just now, GunnerBill said: Wow. I guess he has spat his dummy in some way, or else why do this now rather than after the season? Because Jones went to the Giants & requested his release after he was demoted to lower than the practice squad QB & the Giants granted his wish. 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago No one has the cash to claim and assume his salary, correct? So he clears and signs with Vikings maybe? Best chance to take over as the starter. 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He’s sucks, was completely over drafted, is the number reason to point to QBs getting way too much after getting paid what he did after his breakout season of 15 td passes!!!!, and seems to have the personality of an ironing board. but I’d take him in a second as a back up haha. 1 1 Quote
The Jokeman Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago If Trubisky wasn't signed for next year he'd be intriguing yet imagine part of his request for release is a chance to start. I fully expect him to land in Carolina next year as for this year maybe Oakland takes a shot? 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just now, Cash said: That's a new one for me. Could you translate to American? spat out his pacifier? Is that what you'd call it? The thing you give a baby to suck? Spat his dummy, means thrown a childish tantrum essentially. 1 minute ago, Albany,n.y. said: Because Jones went to the Giants & requested his release after he was demoted to lower than the practice squad QB & the Giants granted his wish. Yea, he spat his dummy. 2 5 1 4 Quote

Bleeding Bills Blue Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 1 minute ago, Logic said: This whollle thing is not a great look for Schoen and Daboll. Yikes. Dead men walking imo. Schoen probably can find a job here if he wants one, or in carolina if he wants to get let go in a year or two when morgan gets scapegoated by ownership handcuffs. 1 Quote
Steptide Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Heard on the radio this morning that he's gaurenteed 23 mil if he's injured before the end of the season. If I'm him, I'm breaking a leg in practice. Probably why they let him go 2 2 Quote

I think the owner was the driving force behind it. Not absolving the coach and GM from blame because the owner wanted Saquan back too and they went against his wishes but from everything you hear out of there the owner was all in on Jones. 2 1 Quote
