I'd love a MNF game but those stupid protection rules. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago CBS will protect the game. Don't really see the Bills getting flexed to another night game the rest of the season but I guess its possible we get flexed to a Saturday game against the Pats or Jets. Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago CBS 4:25 national game would get higher ratings than MNF I think Quote

When it was 9pm, East coast kept complaining they had to stay up too late. They eventually tried 8pm, and West coast screamed they couldn't get out of work and home in time. I think they tried 8:30 and 8:35, settling in on what we have now, 8:15-8:20 Quote

I learned to live with the first quarter on the radio and the rest of the game on TV I miss 10 am games. They were great. Get up, get coffee, watch game, whole rest of the day to work in the shop! Big Turk Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago There is no way CBS is giving up this game...they would protect it. So while it technically "could" happen it simply won't. The chance is effectively 0%. Quote
sullim4 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Correct... CBS is going to protect this game if they can. So far this year, CBS hasn't gotten many marquee Bills matchups, aside from last week. I believe that was the first Bills game this season that CBS sent Nantz and Romo to... which is kind of crazy for one of the top two teams in the conference. That's the likely price they paid to keep KC/BUF on the Tiffany network - BUF/BAL, SF/BUF, BUF/LAR, BUF/SEA all went elsewhere. NBC is getting the 49ers game in two weeks, and ESPN has gotten two Bills games (JAX and NYJ). The 4:25 slot consistently receives the best ratings - the NFL will milk this for all it is worth. Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This should have been the Thanksgiving game. 1 Quote
