I'd love a MNF game but those stupid protection rules. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted Friday at 08:36 PM Posted Friday at 08:36 PM CBS will protect the game. Don't really see the Bills getting flexed to another night game the rest of the season but I guess its possible we get flexed to a Saturday game against the Pats or Jets. Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted Friday at 09:45 PM Posted Friday at 09:45 PM CBS 4:25 national game would get higher ratings than MNF I think Quote

When it was 9pm, East coast kept complaining they had to stay up too late. They eventually tried 8pm, and West coast screamed they couldn't get out of work and home in time. I think they tried 8:30 and 8:35, settling in on what we have now, 8:15-8:20 Quote

I learned to live with the first quarter on the radio and the rest of the game on TV I miss 10 am games. They were great. Get up, get coffee, watch game, whole rest of the day to work in the shop! 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted Friday at 10:26 PM Posted Friday at 10:26 PM There is no way CBS is giving up this game...they would protect it. So while it technically "could" happen it simply won't. The chance is effectively 0%. Quote
sullim4 Posted Friday at 10:37 PM Posted Friday at 10:37 PM Correct... CBS is going to protect this game if they can. So far this year, CBS hasn't gotten many marquee Bills matchups, aside from last week. I believe that was the first Bills game this season that CBS sent Nantz and Romo to... which is kind of crazy for one of the top two teams in the conference. That's the likely price they paid to keep KC/BUF on the Tiffany network - BUF/BAL, SF/BUF, BUF/LAR, BUF/SEA all went elsewhere. NBC is getting the 49ers game in two weeks, and ESPN has gotten two Bills games (JAX and NYJ). The 4:25 slot consistently receives the best ratings - the NFL will milk this for all it is worth. Quote

Rams the week before is a maybe to flex to MNF, the slates pretty weak and the only other tempting one is vikings falcons, and the vikings play on MNF the next week. At the same time that'd be 3 MNF bills games, and the cowboys-bengals will probably still draw just fine. I imagine FOX will look to protect Bills-Rams. Looking at the schedule, cannot see which other game they'd value over that. 1 Quote

UConn James Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) I wish bc my area is must-carry for the Pats* for local broadcast of all three DMAs I get via antenna (Hartford, Providence, & Boston), and of course they have a 4 pm slot on CBS too. 😒 Edited 7 hours ago by UConn James Quote

TNBills Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) I'm going to be pissed if they move this game. My company has a suite which we have 3 tickets for and my hotel is already booked and paid for, for us to arrive Saturday and leave Monday. My wife already took Monday off and it wouldn't make sense for her to also take Tuesday. Edited 7 hours ago by TNBills Quote
