We probably won’t even make the playoffs You know it was Beane that said we are a team in transition. I expected a more difficult transition, felt we had to hit on so many draft picks, new vets and position changes. And we have. It's really a tremendous credit to the entire organization. Quote

Transition was the right word. The words that were being thrown around in the media, however, were “rebuilding” and “taking a step back.” The national media, who don’t know any better, and some of the local media and fans, who should know better, simply saw “names” leaving the roster (Diggs, Morse, Hyde, Poyer, Davis, White) and didn’t see that it was the appropriate time for those guys to go and make room for the next phase. Were there legitimate concerns about the WR room? Yes! Thankfully it appears that Shakir was indeed ready to step up, Coleman has been a pleasant surprise…and Beane recognized the issue and made a key move to acquire Cooper. Hollins has been better than anyone expected. This is fun ride, and I’m here for all of it. 1 Quote
ganesh Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Josh Allen was also the Offensive Player of the Month in SEPTEMBER Quote
paulmm3 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We have a good roster. Credit to Brandon Beane. Okay, the Dawson Knox and Tyler Bass contracts were pretty tough. But we've consistently put decent rosters around Josh. Quote

Plus they overpaid for Poyer in his final season when we should have bit the bullet and gone the draft way. Quote

I agree with what you're saying, but would you have been surprised if Coleman needed a year to develop, all the other draft choices? After the first few games, did anyone think that Hamlin would improve so much? It's pretty remarkable what they've done so far, and I don't think it was wrong to predict a possible step back. I'm still pretty stunned. It's a tremendous coaching accomplishment, and I think it really started with our winning streak to win the division last season. The team came together and the coaching took a big leap. Great organizations can pull off things like this. Fun to watch. Can't wait for SF and beyond 1 Quote
