So they get no credit for winning two games a year in the postseason that we never did? Bengals mixed in there as well right not just KC? I know. Injuries. They have done more than us. The idea that it’s laughable to compare them to our tandem who has done less, is in itself laughable.

I'm not saying anything is laughable.

I am just pointing out if you put SF in the AFC they would have zero super bowl appearances.  They would never beat KC, Cincy or Baltimore in the playoffs.  Then there is the case that I am not sure they would have beat the bills either.

Basically, the NFC has been very weak outside of the tampa year.

Missing all the starting talent today vs the Packers really put them behind from the jump, but they really looked like a bad team all around today. Missed tackles, penalties, turnovers, pressures, it just was an overall rough day at the office.

If SF gets back Bosa and Purdy, I’d expect them to be stronger but not strong enough. They’d really have to clean up their game flying back east after a tough rough beat down to stand a chance in prime time next weekend

They deserve credit, but the path to the superbowl is far easier in the NFC than in the AFC. It's just a fact. All the elite QBs are in the AFC. Kansas City, the best team in the NFL for years now, is in the AFC.

So yeah, they have done more, but there is a reason for that and it isn't just because they are better than the Bills. Opponents and competition are a huge part of that.

Green Bay and Detroit could have rolled with anybody last year.

And if we get Brandon Allen, expect a steady dose of McCaffrey pounding our defensive front and LB's, chewing up time of possession, adding in a bit of Deebo from the RB slot as well.  Any team that has RB assets has watched the Baltimore tape and will be trying to expose our run defense.  KC's best RB was hurt as I recall.

You're more of a half glass empty type guy.  Lol.

If I'm not mistaken, Bizarro Allen has started in Buffalo before. He was a Bronco then. He played horrible (less than 100 pass yards)

That is true.

But he didnt use number 17 when he plays in Denver.

Next week .we can have two number 17 Allen and two number 1 Samuel.

49ers will be full go other than Auiyk next Sunday.

Who is “Auiyk?”

Do you mean Brandon Aiyuk?  It takes 2 seconds to check how to spell a man’s name.

Apropos of nothing, I always think he must look like this under his helmet: image.thumb.png.771bd88122653b13ecdd7ca06192d38c.png

They played KC as well as anybody, and better than we have. Compare Mahomes stats against us vs the 49ers. Eventually reality has to be about real things. I know, that’s not fun.

They took them to overtime once.  Impressive stuff.

Almost as impressive as our playoff resume of Skyler Thompson and Mason Rudolph. They led multiple times late in the 4th quarter and indisputably played Mahomes way more difficult in the postseason. How are so sure we would have beat the Packers and Lions last year? It’s hilarious the confidence level around here.

Don't forget a beaten down Phillip Rivers and a young/raw former MVP Lamar Jackson.  I didn't realize we were playing the 2023 49ers.

I think the point is:

49ers last two times they played the chiefs in the playoffs- lost in overtime and lost in regulation.

Bills last two times they played them- lost to them in overtime and lost in regulation cause of a Tyler bass missed kick

No, the point is the Bills have had zero playoff success. They have two NFC championships.  When they played Mahomes they played him much better than we did. They have accomplished more by any standard that people actually care about. Besides here, where all of our short comings get rationalized away by injuries, competition, or some other flavor of the month.

Guess which one is us vs Mahomes in the playoffs and which one is the 49ers?
