Mr Brightside is a top tier banger. Elite song. Making it the Bills vibe song is ever better.

Prior to it becoming the Bills song, I didn’t know its name nor who sang it…. And I saw the Killers in concert.

To put this in perspective, Thunderstruck was the song they played in Phoenix back in 1990 for the Suns games.  If you remember Thunder Dan Majerle.   

 

if people insist on the classic rock songs, Jimi Hendrix's "Hear My Train A Comin'" would be perfect with the train whistle and the implication of Allen being the train...

 

it doesn't work like that though.  This is about feel and emotion not lyrics.

Yeah, there's a lot of AARP takes in this thread. I'd venture that the majority of posters complaining aren't even attending these games.

It great that the crowd is embracing it but there opinion means nothing. 

 

This is the players driving this tradition... let them do their thing and suggestions that it should be AC/DC or any other random fans favorite is F'n stupid.  

 

The players chose the song because they vibe with it.  Stupid fans don't get to choose,  vote or comment on what the players hype song is.

The companion song to this song is called Miss Atomic Bomb and is a brilliant song.  Arguably the Killers best song.

 

Mr Brightside is a good song but an odd song to use considering what the song is about.
