I was playing around with the ESPN playoff machine, and I think 14-3 gets the 1 seed. I have us getting a loss to the lions, I have the chiefs getting a loss vs Denver and chargers/or/steelers. I have the Steelers dropping 2 games more 1 to Cincy and other to Baltimore.

Honestly the game that worries me if it plays out like that is the finale.... Drake Maye is playing well and it's always the hardest to close it out if that was what was happening the last week of the season....

If that were the case I think the bills would get flexed to 4pm to match the chiefs finale vs the broncos

Still a lot of football left to get to the #1 seed. But I think the Bills can officially clinch the division before they play SF. If Miami loses to the Pats this week and at GB on TNF next week then the Bills are AFCE champs.

I know but there is a long way to go for that. Have to see how things play out. The Bills could officially clinch the division as early as next week.

I’m counting on the Chiefs losing to the Chargers.

Counting on the chargers to win a game for you is like counting on the Seahawks to win a game for you.

14 is what I was thinking.  If that's the case then if they can beat SF and the Rams then they can loose to the Lions and sweep the Pats and Jets.  Of course, the dream scenario is winning out and clinching before the last week.  That way they could rest starters who would then have 3 weeks rest going into the playoffs.

I think the Chargers, Broncos, Texans and Steelers will be laser focused on beating Kansas City.  I'm thinking KC loses 2 of those games, outside chance to lose 3.  The Bills wiped out their aura of invincibility and silly luck.

What’s up with everyone thinking we lose to the Lions?

Ill take Allen over Goff any day of the week.

I do admit that the Lions OC is a savant and they have many weapons, but I won’t be shocked at all if McD limits them quite effectively.

Im more worried about the 49ers. They are desperate.

My fear is both KC and Buffalo win out to be 16-1 and 15-2, respectively. Kind of like Jacksonville finishing 15-1 and Tennessee 14-2 in 1999.

I could see the chiefs losing three more actually. A clunker in there somewhere-just because their luck will run out.

I see KC losing an away game to a team whose fans dress up like Kermit and freak him out.

I agree that the Bills can lose one more game and still get the first seed.

It sounds silly but I worry about the last three games, against the Pats and Jets.  As bad as they may be, those teams have given the Bills problems over past few years…they will have nothing to lose and we’re likely to get one or more crazy weather games at that time of year…hopefully they will just be in tank mode, fighting it out for a high draft pick.
