"Has"

Always was.

Nothing new.

Ah, the eternal refrain of "nothing new." Perhaps the only new thing is how we continue to notice what’s always been there.

I try to avoid that hell hole at all costs!

We generally agree, but hanging anything from ropes, especially if in reference to a black guy, just doesn’t need to be done.

All good, and while I agree with you about "hanging" something representing a black guy as if he is being "hung" is over the line...this is not what this was at all.  He was suspended in the air, not hung like a noose, much like a pinata would be.  There is a massive difference and this was an example of the public and media making it mean something it doesn't.

Is a scalping action with a tomahawk chop while chanting: "Woo woo, woo woo woo" also in poor taste?

Asking for a friend...

Why do you need to ask?

Fair.  Not a noose, not a hanging

PS I could totes get into treating Mahomes like a pinata, using Bills defenders as sticks.

Yeah I didn't think there was anything around Kermit's neck

If you drink and drive, you're an idiot. If you build something on a construction site while drinking, you're an idiot. And this joke narrative about "I'm old and I'll do what I want to do" is also lazy and idiotic. In life no matter what age you are, you have certain moral & ethical societal responsibilities. Yelling at clouds and kicking guys off your lawn don't fly anymore. Remind me not to walk into a @Sweats building.

Well, I mean, if it's his lawn, it's Sweats private property.  If he wants to yell at clouds and kick trespassers off his lawn, that is his right.

Prior to the game Sunday someone hung a toy Kermit in a Mahomes jersey by a rope.  Now multiple outlets are posting what a terrible disturbing act that was.  Granted, most everyone reading this on this forum is a Bills fan but are others bothered by this?  I see it as fans being fans and it’s not a big deal.  Agree or disagree?

People can be overly sensitive. But generally hanging “someone” is a pretty garbage look. A million more creative ways to talk trash than that.

Friends don't let Friends shop Walmart.

There's actually a big hullaballoo in our local neighborhood groups right now, because the nearest Walmart has taken out the self-serve checkouts (due to excessive losses from theft) and not replaced them with (enough) live checkers.  So the lines get hella long and inconvenient.

I wouldn’t go in there without a full Hazmat suit.

What we need is some consensus to bring us all together.

Can we all agree that next time, instead of hanging Kermit from a pole, they shove the pole up his butt?

Not as smart as you with your fancy degree I apologize for only getting a Bachelor. I must defer all my opinions to you because of your excellence. You really are being a keyboard bully. I thought I could have an opinion but you know more than the rest of us…

Wasn’t offended by you. Didn’t say I cannot see how people could be offended. Go pound salt.

Get well soon.

Ewwwww.  No, Please.

I like "Kermit under the Hooves of a Buffalo" suggestion.

This was terrible optics - but man, it's just one fan.

The reaction from KC is so over the top in generalizing about the fanbase - they see this, and it's immediately "Bills fans are trash!" I guess all fanbases do that to an extent, but it doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

If they were holding Kermit Mahomes up with a climbing harness or bungee cord harness would it still be wrong?  Maybe clip the rope to a belt around his waist?  Do you avoid controversy by completely avoiding a rope around a neck?

I probably would have gone with this:
