Then don't be surprised or outraged when anybody hands you your hat and shows you the door because you have zero sense of when to stop.

This feels like something bellicheat would do. Get fake bills fans to do something subversive lol. Bills Mafia will need to assess the chiefs intelligence agencies 😂

Nice try KC fans, nice try...

Allen is still destroying your defense in the afc championship in Buffalo 🤣🤣🤣

I think this place would be going crazy though if it was flipped around - there's over 6 pages about Travis Kelce clapping for God's sake!!!

Allen isn't Black and for 200 years didn't face lynchings as a regular part of life.  Think you probably should go read some history books to understand why it would be extremely offensive and seen that way by many. Or go watch Mississippi Burning.

1. Mahomes never faced lynching as a regular part of life either.

2. Many white people were lynched. The largest mass lynching happened in New Orleans to Italian immigrants.

3. Telling people to educate themselves by watching fictional movies loosely based on history is ridiculous. For a perfect example why, look at how many people believe that Ruben "Hurricane" Carter was wrongly accused because a popular Denzel Washington movie misrepresented every single fact about his case.

I lived life back in the day when it was acceptable to drink on construction sites, where it was acceptable to drink and drive, drive without a seatbelt, when you got into a fight in the bar the bouncers just let it go to see how it all played out, you drove without a driver's license and no one really cared, safety of any kind especially on construction sites was never even cared about, etc.

Things were different back then and hanging a noose on a construction site was a "rite of passage", not a symbol of ill-will towards anyone. It was done in jest to show the apprentices what would happen to them if they ****ed up. It was a joke, and we all knew it was a joke........unfortunately, all it takes is one person with hurt feelings who is "triggered" to create an issue for a long-standing tradition that ruins it for everyone.

And trust me, we had no "go along to get along".........we had men that spoke their minds and weren't afraid to say it. If you couldn't speak your mind or if you are easily offended, then perhaps construction wasn't for you, and it was best for that person to move on because we were never going to change the culture to suit one person.

We live in an age that i don't recognize anymore and when i say that i am old and probably one step closer to death, so all of these nonsense society changes mean nothing to me, it is in jest, however, it really isn't, because i don't care.

I am the way i am and if anyone has a problem with it, then it is their problem. At least people know what they are getting when it comes to me......they figure it out 100% within the first 2 minutes. There is no bull****, there are no lies, no games, nothing but upfront honesty and if that hurts people's feelings, or they get offended, or triggered, well it's not like you didn't know going into it cause i am the way i am and i will not change to satisfy a society that has lost its way.....and let's be honest here, if you've been around on this planet for any length of time, you've seen that society has lost its way and it's getting worse by the day.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Well, it kind of helps me understand just how unconsciously privileged you are and have been all your life.  I guaran-*****in-tee you there were guys (and if there were any gals, gals) on your job who felt they were better off keeping their mouths shut and not pointing out the crap said and done that was offensive.  Either you had someone on the site who actually had a relative or relative's friend who was actually lynched and who didn't find your noose funny, OR the Good Old Days you mourn were good for a bunch of paunchy white dudes who got to scratch their gut and har-har about how their ideal woman is 3 ft tall, flat headed, and has no teeth.

That's really what it's all about - whether or not there's a dominant group that gets to define acceptable humor, or whether the targets get a voice.

You mentioned "30-40 years ago"

The first Federal seatbelt law was passed in 1968. 30 years ago, it was illegal to not wear seatbelts in something like 48 out of 50 states.  40 years ago, not so much, but that changed about 2 years later.  So the time you're mourning must be older than that.

Poor little atavism.  Can you even see the contradiction between saying "I don't care" and the stuff you're posting here?

If you don't care, why even bother to post about it?  Just let it slide off your back, the way I had to let all the racist and sexist crap I dealt with back in the '70s and '80s slide because I couldn't afford, mentally or financially, to let it derail me from my goals.

Didn't mean I found it inoffensive.

I think a crying doll would be more appropriate for Mahones personally.

I think Brady trademarked that.

Now this,  is a very valid point

KC does have that "easily outraged fans" bit going for them, starting with Brittney Mahomes getting all fluffed up and indignant that the networks dared to show her dejected husband on the bench during their SB loss to Tampa (never bothered her when the networks showed dejected opposing QB through the season)

Now that you mention Brittney Mahomes, it does make me wonder how she feels about being the Miss Piggy in thier relationship.  She fits the character perfectly.  Obnoxious, condescending, and pushy.

Flip the script-if a Chiefs fan did that to a Josh Allen doll how would you want people to react?

Chiefs fans are one of the most sensitive and insecure fan bases I've ever come across. And yes, Bills fans are often very sensitive and insecure themselves. The difference is that heartache is all we've ever known and we've never hoisted a Lombardi trophy. We're fans of a famously star-crossed and unlucky team. The Chiefs, on the other hand, are in the midst of a dynasty, coming off two Super Bowl wins, and boast (arguably) the best QB and head coach in the league -- both surefire first ballot Hall of Famers -- and they're STILL overly sensitive and insecure.

The absolute outrage and defensiveness they show any time someone dares to talk positively about quarterbacks other than Mahomes. The defensiveness and dismissiveness they show any time their team gets beaten.

I've come across arrogant fan bases before. Patriots fans were beyond awful for 20 years. But I've never seen this level of arrogance/smugness MIXED WITH extreme sensitivity and insecurity. It's downright bizarre.

**Note: I'm mostly talking about online Chiefs fans on social media and message boards and Chiefs content creators. I know most people say that any time they've gone to games or interacted with Chiefs fans in real life, it's been a mostly positive experience.

I saw it, thought it in poor taste but I'm not losing sleep over it. Every game I walk by a bus that had a picture of Mahomes eating a bills shaped dick. Its dumb, but funny.

Its fandom. Sometimes its funny, sometimes its not. This isn't my type of humor, but again, not losing sleep over it

What if the next time, someone just depicts hanging a white guy?.......does that ease all your tensions a bit?

I mean Brady literally was the epitome of a player to be despised and hated to a much higher degree by Bills fans for almost 2 decades and I don't recall him being depicted that way.

Also there was a racially motivated mass shooting in the city not too long ago.

Subtlety definitely plays a role in how it is perceived...however, those whom that imagery/optic never had an impact on and can easily place it into a less harmful context will think that it's no big deal.
