Prior to the game Sunday someone hung a toy Kermit in a Mahomes jersey by a rope.  Now multiple outlets are posting what a terrible disturbing act that was.  Granted, most everyone reading this on this forum is a Bills fan but are others bothered by this?  I see it as fans being fans and it’s not a big deal.  Agree or disagree?

Since this is brought up we ought to get a new Slogan going like Squish the Fish, we need one to imply the beating of a frog. So what ideas you all got...

- Flog the Frog?

- Explode the Toad?

Could also use snake references….

Disagree completely.  The Mafia is much better than this.

Tis the society we live in.. everything is offensive

I think, like most things, there are far less people actually offended and it's more the media outlets trying to drum up stories for clicks.

No one cares.

My personal opinion is that it's in poor taste.  Sure, it's funny and basically harmless but the insinuation of violence and (very likely unintentional) suggestion of a lynching is surely offensive to some.

There is no uproar. Just like a few weeks ago when Simon shut that thread down.

I personally saw this thing. It wasn't hanging hanging was tied up to hang from a stick.

The reaction to this is people are upset that someone said someone was upset. The outlets are social media tools trying to get attention and click bait journalists and scum like Steven a Smith and his ilk

No one is upset about this. I promise.

On the list of things that move the needle for me, this is a 0 out of 10. People love to make something out of nothing in this day and age.

What’s the issue? I recall many years where someone would have a dolphin or a buffalo hanging from a noose INSIDE the stadium. Would people rather have seen an American Indian? Is the issue about the noose or who/what was hanging from it? Geez, people!

Flip the script-if a Chiefs fan did that to a Josh Allen doll how would you want people to react?

Allen isn't Black and for 200 years didn't face lynchings as a regular part of life.  Think you probably should go read some history books to understand why it would be extremely offensive and seen that way by many. Or go watch Mississippi Burning.
