f0neguy Posted yesterday at 12:32 PM Posted yesterday at 12:32 PM Prior to the game Sunday someone hung a toy Kermit in a Mahomes jersey by a rope. Now multiple outlets are posting what a terrible disturbing act that was. Granted, most everyone reading this on this forum is a Bills fan but are others bothered by this? I see it as fans being fans and it’s not a big deal. Agree or disagree? 1 3 6 5 Quote

thronethinker Posted yesterday at 12:40 PM Posted yesterday at 12:40 PM Since this is brought up we ought to get a new Slogan going like Squish the Fish, we need one to imply the beating of a frog. So what ideas you all got... - Flog the Frog? - Explode the Toad? 1 11 Quote

ScottishBills Posted yesterday at 12:48 PM Posted yesterday at 12:48 PM (edited) Tasteless, pointless 🤷🏽♂️ Or to put it another way, much less funny than the boneless wings/ranch guy Edited yesterday at 12:48 PM by ScottishBills 1 5 Quote

Saxum Posted yesterday at 01:01 PM Posted yesterday at 01:01 PM I think a crying doll would be more appropriate for Mahones personally. 3 2 Quote

TheWei44 Posted yesterday at 01:07 PM Posted yesterday at 01:07 PM My personal opinion is that it's in poor taste. Sure, it's funny and basically harmless but the insinuation of violence and (very likely unintentional) suggestion of a lynching is surely offensive to some. 9 2 2 8 2 1 2 Quote
boyst Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM There is no uproar. Just like a few weeks ago when Simon shut that thread down. I personally saw this thing. It wasn't hanging hanging was tied up to hang from a stick. The reaction to this is people are upset that someone said someone was upset. The outlets are social media tools trying to get attention and click bait journalists and scum like Steven a Smith and his ilk No one is upset about this. I promise. 4 1 2 Quote
H2o Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM On the list of things that move the needle for me, this is a 0 out of 10. People love to make something out of nothing in this day and age. 4 1 1 Quote
Peace Frog Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM Maybe change it from a lynching (bad look) to being trampled by a bison. 3 5 1 Quote

Process Posted yesterday at 01:15 PM Posted yesterday at 01:15 PM I don't find it funny but I also don't think it's anything to get too worked up about 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM What’s the issue? I recall many years where someone would have a dolphin or a buffalo hanging from a noose INSIDE the stadium. Would people rather have seen an American Indian? Is the issue about the noose or who/what was hanging from it? Geez, people! 1 2 1 Quote
chongli Posted yesterday at 01:21 PM Posted yesterday at 01:21 PM Very bad taste by Bills fan. A suspension from Highmark is in order. 1 7 Quote

Allen isn't Black and for 200 years didn't face lynchings as a regular part of life. Think you probably should go read some history books to understand why it would be extremely offensive and seen that way by many. Or go watch Mississippi Burning.
