To Rex's credit, he went to 2 consecutive AFC Championship games with Mark Sanchez and was the last guy to take the Jets to the playoffs at all. That's quite an accomplishment

Classic will be if Rex totally dismantles the current 'historical' Jets defense to try to squeeze it into his defense.  That will set them back a couple years minimum right there

Similar to what the Sabres did with Ruff. Ruff just kept coaching and getting fired, while Rex went to TV

Not gonna lie, every Monday after a Jets loss I turn onto YouTube waiting for a hilarious rant by him.

I definitely understand Jets fans feeling nostalgic for him but I mean you could only milk that for so long.
