May Day 10 Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM (edited) Just a terrible choice by both sides. Well, I guess Ryan could get many millions of dollars for a year of work I can't imagine Ryan running a competent football program in 2024. Edited yesterday at 11:54 AM by May Day 10 1 Quote

Billy Claude Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM (edited) I think there is a pretty good chance that Rex Ryan will be the Jet coach. Woody Johnson wants a name. I don't think there is any "name" outside of Rex who would be willing to work for Johnson. Plus, if Johnson really does pay attention to social media, there's a lot of loud Jets fans such as Joe Benigno calling on the Jets to hire Ryan. Edited yesterday at 12:07 PM by Billy Claude 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM I am sure Rex would do it if given the chance. Woody should not give it to him considering not only how it ended for his team, but what happened in Buffalo immediately afterwards. But he might just be dumb enough to make that call. 1 Quote

H2o Posted yesterday at 01:14 PM Posted yesterday at 01:14 PM Do it, and bring Rob Ryan in to run the defense. They'll be bottom 5 in no time. 1 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted yesterday at 01:34 PM Posted yesterday at 01:34 PM I hope they do and then he has a press conference and says he is not here to kiss sean McDermotts ring. which now that I think about it sounds kind of weird. 1 Quote

I have watched Ryan a bit on the pregame show over the last month-+. If you look at it the right way, it seems clear that he has been purposely going for soundbites to claim momentum for the Jets' coaching job. 1 1 Quote
