Everything from timing of players getting healthy to Luck to mystery flags/ mystery no flags just says it all to me. I'm not going to be surprised or watching when KC is in the Super Bowl.

Well the league gets what it wants, and it wants the Bills at chiefs for the AFC ship. Only JA17 can slay the dragon. He’s this leagues only hope.

I guess I'm not super worried about a CB just coming back after sitting out over two months with a broken leg. Am I wrong?

It depends, does he cover Shakir, Cooper, Coleman or Samuel?

I'd be worried about Chiefs fans if they beat us again & then go on to 3-peat. They're already at levels of arrogance so cartoonish that they make Brady-era Patriots fans look like the model of humility.

We need to win just to keep our friends in KC from slipping further from reality.

Based on what? Do you even know anyone from KC?

Maybe because I'm a Bills fan and there's a little feeling of underdog mentality or whatever, but I think the league wants KC and Baltimore.

Tight game that comes to game management, and McDermott and the Bills staff gets bested...

Its that until proven otherwise...

If KC wins they deserve all the glory and adoration, awards etc. they already do being back to back champions

It's again silly that a 15-1 team got basically no accolade recognition. Especially coming off back to back championships and the best record ever for a back to back champion

Trent McDuffie is the best CB in football and no pro bowl

It's kinda unbelievable honestly

Allen and burrow are really the only QBs who can actually match mahomes, obviously burrow is probably out so that's how I see it.

KC if given truth serum is hoping buffalo gets knocked out before the AFC championship imo. Everyone knows Allen is a playoff 😈 demon

I think the league would be happy with KC-Balt but modestly prefers KC-Buff.  Come on, Josh on prime time in the playoffs is what everyone wants, right, including advertisers?  Lots of eyeballs will be watching that game!!

I can agree with this as well. He is great in prime time. Maybe it's all the MVP hype with Lamar. Idk I just get a feeling that popularity wise Lamar is the push. Mahomes is the obvious Face though

Good point, also we are the only team to beat Chiefs this year (in a meaningful game) - Rematch would get super hyped.

For sure. I guess one thing we don't think of is maybe it'll be Buffalo and Ravens in the AFCCG. The only reason I don't believe this is because there is just a part of me that believes that it's always going to be KC. It's as close to believing there's a fix without actually believing there's a fix. Like right now today I would guess to say that the 2026 Super Bowl will probably have KC in it. It really sucks. ORRRR maybe their just in my head lol idk

Bills-Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium is easily the best storyline. Bills-Chiefs played the greatest playoff game of all time (13 seconds) and followed that up with a nail biter in Buffalo last year and has been (on balance) a pretty even matchup on the field for 5+ years. Chiefs-Ravens has been one-sided: KC with 5 wins, and the lone defeat was by a point. Last year's Chiefs-Ravens AFC title game was good but not great and not particularly memorable. Baltimore's city nor fanbase has much curb appeal.

With Chiefs-Bills, you either get a shot at nfl history (Chiefs become first 3peat ever) or Bills end their Super Bowl drought. There isn't a storyline involving Baltimore that's particularly intriguing imo other than Lamar is fun to watch.

@Successis spot on! I have extended family and multiple friends who are die hard Chefs fans, and it’s almost so bad with their sensitivity and yet simultaneous condescension, that we can’t talk football unless it’s confined to discussing say, the craptastic show that is Aaron/Jets…the rest of my family are Steelers fans so let’s just say it’s been a hoot growing up as the only Bills fan amongst all that…anecdotal evidence I know, but it’s all led me to hating the Chiefs more now than the Pats of yesteryear, and that’s saying something, lol 😆.

Honestly, I don't know who I'd want to emerge from a potential Buffalo-Baltimore matchup. I think Baltimore's better than a lot of people give them credit for. They seem really balanced right now. They'll be a problem for anybody. That said, Lamar never seems to get it done in the playoffs.

I could say similar things about many Bills fans. A large portion of the online fanbase talks about a 15-1 team like they're nothing. I've seen numerous posters say they're not even worried about KC. Allen is clearly superior to Mahomes and "everybody knows it," Bills would've beaten KC easily last year if not for injuries, etc etc. Many predicted a 20+ point win before the divisional game. Can't imagine what those people would be saying if the roles were reversed and it was the Bills with 6 straight AFCC appearances and 3 SB wins.

That said, I think it's silly to generalize a large group of people based on a few loud voices.

I don't trust Lamar in the playoffs at all. I trust, Stafford, Love, Herbert, Obviously Mahomes and Allen, Goff all more. Heck even Mayfield has been way better in the playoffs.

That being said, if they play smashmouth football and don't pretend Lamar is Dan Fouts, they could be very tough for anyone. I do worry about their inexperienced DC going against an offense like buffalo or KC in a playoff environment. I don't know if he's ready for the edge QBs like Mahomes and Allen play with in the playoffs...

I can't get out of my mind his AFC championship performance which was hideous and the first half vs the Texans last year with 50 yds passing in the first half. The 3 points vs buffalo, and even his wildcard win vs the Titans in 20 he had 2 int and like 170 yds passing. It's just been terrible and I don't understand how that would suddenly be fine in year 7

All part of the fun that is NFL fandom, imho. Of course we (there I go over-generalizing ;)) would be just as if not even more insufferable than the defending SB champ fan base if the roles were reversed…also, I did throw in a qualifier that my experience was anecdotal fwiw. 👍
