Do you have any "atypical" foods on your Thanksgiving table?

We have Thanksgiving dinner the way it's supposed to be.

Toast, popcorn, pretzel sticks & jelly beans.

Be careful with the jelly beans. One Easter our young son snuck off and ate every jelly bean in his basket.

A few hours later he’s in his PJ’s on the couch being cradled by my wife. He’s screaming “WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU?!?!  I NEED A DOCTOR!!!”

And then he vomited jelly beans, some apparently un-chewed, all over her. She’s an awesome mother! I promise.

Anyone ever tried turducken?

Once. It was a letdown. The meats didn’t really work that well together. Despite the added difficulty and expense the dish resulted in something that was no better than a turkey IMO.

I sometimes have steamed Brussels Sprouts yet I still have the green beans casserole.

I was waiting for the green bean casserole to show up.  Someone brings/makes it every year and I'm sure only the person that brought/made it, eats it.

Our current head count is expected to be 14-16, which is well down from years past. My sister and a family we have literally spent the last 25+ Thanksgivings with both asked what they could bring. We said nobody on earth knows better than you people what we have on the Thanksgiving table. Bring something else that you’d like. I’m curious.
