There is a lot of talk about JA being MVP ´cause without a lot of weapons he has the Bills sitting at 9-2 and beating the undefeated Taylor Chiefs...

I honestly think that McD should really be a Coach of the Year candidate, how can he not?!
- He has the players buying into the culture.

- Suffering with a lot of injuries, the backups are well prepared to step up.

- He might not call the defense, but its his system and trust me he is the one making the adjustments at half time with Bobby and Brady and completely dominating the 2nd half of the games.

- A lot of good players and leaders departure this offseason and he has the Bills 9-2 when everybody thought we were rebuilding, at the end of the day, it is his team.

- Maybe not the best game manager, but you how can you not be pleased with his game decisions. He trusted Bass to kick a very difficult game winner and he delivered... the trust Allen to convert a 4th and 2 against the Chiefs and he delivered.

And the list goes on and on...

Odds for him to get it in BETUS are +2500... Mike Tomblin is the current favorite with +300 followed by Dan Campbell at +400. Is he really that far away?

He's in my top 5 candidates yet the job Dan Quinn is doing great with a rookie QB to me deserves the COY. Next is the job guy in Minnesota is doing with Sam Darnold, I also have to give Sean Peyton his due with his rookie QB. Then I look Dan Campbell and Sean McDermott as the next two.

What do the Bills have to achive in order for McD to get it?

- Beat the Lions
-15-2 record

- No. 1 AFC Seed

WIll that be enough?

Not if Washington or Minnesota make the playoffs.

His best chance was 2017.  Unfortunately many just think the bills will be good every year so that eliminates him every year.

Dan Quinn is a good dark horse pick though

Considering all the changes that the Bills have to go thru and a lot of media and "experts" were peciling the Bills as No. 3 in the AFC East and even out of the playoffs???

he would have to at least get the team to the SB.

too many view him as the reason the Bills do not advance in the playoffs----that's not going to get you the MVP.

Bingo. As nice as it would be, Quinn is doing more with less from a coaching standpoint. If he makes the playoffs he’s a lock imo.

O’Connell is doing superb with Darnold but that team when you break it down is a quality roster.

I don´t know who could have the Bills playing better football with this current roster.

Bills are better than WAS and MIN. And their rosters are much more complete.

Man, i don't get it, someone please make it all make sense.

One week, McClappy needs to go cause he is just not getting the job done.......the next week, people are saying he should be coach of the year?

What the hell is wrong with you people?!?.......pick a side and live with it.

none of that matters.  every COTY voter has seen this before: beat KC in the season, lose in playoffs.

HC's in DC and Minny are working with a rookie and a former busted out rookie....not Josh Allen

Well you said it...

You people as multiple people. Not everyone has the same opinion.

I always have been pro McD, especially now that he is getting the job done with a complete turnaround roster and inserting backups every other game.

With McDermott it will come down to the playoffs. He has been an excellent regular season coach for a long time now. But he needs to get over the hump in the playoffs. To many playoff failures are why many fans want to move on from him.

This award, like many, comes down to narrative.

And it's week-to-week, like everything else in the NFL.

And right now, Mike Tomlin easily has the best narrative.

I just don´t see it. Why am I missing? He has a very good football team doing what is expected.

I get Dan Campbell and Dan Quinn, but Tomblin??? Really?!

Doesnt mean I like that narrative B.S. drives the conversation and the betting odds.

But Tomlin went against his assistants in naming Wilson the starter. And obviously a great record.

Thats it.
