There are other motivations

I don’t think so, since this has become the most polarized debate that I can remember, I wouldn’t be surprised that you get lots of split ticketing, where voters award Josh the MVP but Lamar as the first team All Pro.

The selections don’t have the same criteria.

Yea, i fully expect the AP All-Pro nods to go to Jackson (1st team) and Burrow (2nd team) as a consolation prize for not winning MVP and acknowledgement they had fantastic seasons. Barkley gets OPOY

All three of them picked Lamar as their MVP. One of them was apparently a little influenced by Week 18 which makes no sense whatsoever.

There is literally no context to these stats discussions. Team wins has completely disappeared from the conversation this year. Wonder why.
Dan Orlovsky said something along the lines of "if we want the MVP to just be about stats, let the computer decide".

Also wanted to share Michael Irvin going with Josh Allen and questioning why last year stats were good to win MVP but not this year.

Thank you, Michael Irvin! Stop changing the criteria all of a sudden.
