A systematic propaganda campaign? It started after the Houston game. My FB feed and Twitter are bombarded with content comparing Allen and Jackson, and declaring Jackson the winner. It's like the NFL-Media establishment wants Jackson and are lobbying for him. Unless Josh does something spectacular the next two games--it will be Jackson. Tony Romo going to help hype Josh up today and bring the MVP home for him. Quote

Chiefs and Lions victories are what should and in the end will set Allen apart. Also the four game historic stretch. Chiefs would be working on a perfect season if it were not for Allen's heroics. Nobody else was good enough to be the Chiefs and that includes Lamar. Allen and the Bills beat two teams with a combined 21-1 record. Probably the first time in history that has happened. Only way Allen should lose the MVP at this point is if the Ravens finish ahead of the Bills in the standings and that isn't happening. Yep, as of today the Chiefs and Lions are 0-2 vs Buffalo and 28-1 vs everyone else. That's ball game. Especially when you see what Allen did in those games...not to mention the totality of 11 games 30+ points and a better Bills record. 1 Quote

Why don't they just give Nick Wright a vote? Last year was embarrassing. If ever there was a year to split the first place votes up equally between 3+ players it was last year. Dak, Allen, Lamar, Hill, CMC, Purdy all should have received some combination of 2+ votes. Instead we got a 49-1 vote for Lamar. The worst statistical season by an MVP in 20+ years and the guy wins one vote shy of a unanimous vote. Acho plays two different roles in his announcing. In one he's a devils advocate on the show stirring things up. At other times I've watched his analysis of plays on twitter and he's quite good with the details - right up there with a Baldy & Greg Cossell. 1 Quote
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Does anyone not want allen to win MVP? I'm just envisioning a world where allen loses MVP and is facing lamar in the divisional round. Not that he needs it but could you imagine the extra motivation it would give josh. And on the flip side, the immense pressure jackson would be under after winning his 3rd MVP facing the man many thought should have won the award. Quote

MVP isn’t announced until a couple days before the Super Bowl. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Every MVP play Allen makes today they either drop or it's a penalty. Dang it! Quote

Allen will win or lose the mvp based on being the two seed and his historic 4 game stretch against the nfl’s best teams. Nothing else matters or changes that. Lamar can never take that 4 game streak away. It will be up the voters to judge that streak be Lamar’s numbers. That streak was crucial. If the Bills lose to the Chiefs and Lions like everyone else had the Ravens would be the two seed right now. Edited December 29, 2024 by Sammy Watkins' Rib 1 Quote

Chicken Boo Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Lamar is having a historic season, but Allen will win MVP in all likelihood. Just needs to keep playing like he is. Quote

And prior to week 18 meaningless games the Bills have two fewer losses and #2 seed. That matters not to mention KC and Detroit. 1 Quote
