Keep Barkley, trade down in the 2024 draft so you pick up an extra 2025 1st, and could still probably have landed BTJ. Then they have an extra pick this year to maneuver up and get a QB. This is similar to what the Bills and Beane did. Trade down in 2017, but still get some core guys. Shore up the OL. Then have ammo to move up and get your QB the next year. I'm surprised Schoen didnt copy. 3 minutes ago, FireChans said: All winning a few more games with a Barkley does is push them further and further from the top of the board. The Giants, Mara specifically, made a mistake in mandating that DJ was his boy and that Schoen and Daboll were effectively married to him. Once that's the "plan," paying Barkley is a mistake. If DJ works, well you probably don't want to pay both. If DJ doesn't and flames out spectacularly? Having a great RB to win 6 games instead of 3 is drought era Bills magic. The Giants will try to find a QB now. If they succeed, all will be forgiven, if they fail, heads will roll. Especially because Malik will likely emerge as a superstar sooner than later with halfway competent QB play. The bold is pretty much what Im saying. They chose wrong in sticking with DJ instead of re-signing Barkley and looking for a new QB. As it stands, they are still looking for a new QB, but now dont have Barkley either. See above: The Bills broke the drought and made the playoffs in 2017 and were still able to move up and land Josh Allen. They had a plan. The Giants didnt seem like they really had a plan. I tend to blame Owner Influence on that too. Edited 6 hours ago by DrDawkinstein Quote
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago This would be much more entertaining if at the end they give the MVP to Lamar Jackson and right before he makes his speech on stage, Ashton Kutcher comes out and yells you just got pranked dawg. 3 Quote

You guys are doing a great job of keeping us updated! Thank you! Also F-You Rodger!! Total BS that I buy Sunday ticket to watch the Bills live all year and can’t watch the award show live. Another CA fan saying thanks for the updates Quote
Scott7975 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think they do know the winners ahead of time. Buffalo Bills media has their tweets out within minutes. No way they have graphics and stuff made that fast. They are already prepared. 2 Quote

Billl Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I can’t wait to find out who won. It could either be the guy sitting in the front row with his starlet girlfriend or the guy who isn’t there? The suspense is killing me. 1 2 Quote
RiotAct Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago lol I love how they showed the Broncos’ lone TD against the Bills in Sean Payton’s “highlight reel” for CoY. 1 Quote

I half expect them to give it to Lamar and then zoom in on Allen with that 1000 yard stare like all the playoff games. 2 4 Quote

You can have a great back or not. The only thing that matters is a QB. Bills fans should recognize this by now. With or without Barkley, the Giants are still ass without a QB. The Bills were ass with a lot of great RB's. The flip side of signing Barkley and letting DJ walk is that what if DJ blossomed into a Goff-level QB and their new rookie sucked? That would be even worse. They bet on Jones. They were wrong. But you never go wrong prioritizing any kind of stability at the QB position over literally everything else tbh. Quote

They just werent realistic as to what that season really was, who Jones really is, and what they still needed to do. 1 Quote
