Lamar was great this year, but he had Derrick Henry and a better pedigree of receiver. 

Josh was more valuable to his team as he had to do more to pull his team to victories, and that is why I would vote for Josh Allen

Some who have come out & said they voted Lamar make it sound more like a stats award.

 

I think some do see it that way.  I just take "most valuable" as exactly that.

Maybe co-MVP?  hasn’t happened since 2004,  Peyton and Steve McNair.

 

I doubt it, seems the secondary voting almost makes a tie highly improbable, unless there is some collusion involved amongst the voters.

Just remove the "V".  This award is all about stats and preconceived feelings between both guys. The AP voters who were insistent that Josh would fail from 2017 on will never admit they were wrong.  They'll always vote under that narrative.

co-MVP is basically impossible with the ranked choice voting they do now.
