Lamar is 2-5 in games he throws 30+ passes because Henry is the engine and MVP of that team Josh is 7-2 in games he throws 30+ passes Edited 14 hours ago by Warriorspikes51 1 1 Quote

Could probably swallow Lamar winning this year if he wasn't essentially gifted it last year. He had 29 total TDs last year for goodness sake. I'm still trying to figure out how 49 out of 50 voters placed their vote for Lamar last season when his numbers were so far off from past MVP's that it was laughable. The Ravens were the best defense in the league last season, and that was what drove their record. They made a mockery of the award last season, so I now no longer have any expectations as to who will get it and what it's based on. I'm placing a bet on Lamar so at least I can make some money if Josh gets screwed again by these writers 1 1 Quote

Seeing that tweet, i am furious. So week 18 vs Cleveland actually mattered? Last year the dude sat out vs Pittsburgh and was basically unanimous. 1 Quote

Well not really sarcastic. What I said is true. But by special I'm talking in the eyes of the media. He will continue to rewrite history, because they will continue to bend the rules for him. Lamar is truly 1 of 1. 1 1 Quote

There is no doubt that it would be warranted this year. I’d obviously vote for Josh but Lamar has a strong case. First of all no one is arguing that his numbers aren't amazing. Secondly, there is only 1 winner and it's a choice between the 2. So you have to pick one. You can't say so and so is deserving too that's a copout. Josh is deserving this season. As an aside, regarding the Ravens, alot of people still don't trust this team and LJ in particular if the system has a malfunction. Like someone slows them down running early and manages to put some points up and they have to play catchup. When everything goes according to plan they can stomp people. But, I don't know of many people who feel the same about LJ as they do Patrick or Josh as to whether he can bring a team back with his arm and passing acumen. He does much, much better when he has wide open receivers and the running game is cooking. 1 Quote

The odds were wrong because the league has never seen a player like Lamar before in its history. The rules do not apply to him. And the market did not adjust. Quote

MikePJ76 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Without making everyone hate me I kind of would love if the mvp went to Jackson and all the media gloated about it. between that and everyone thinking the broncos are going to win, that is the kind of extra motivation that todays athletes need. being disrespected is one of the biggest things that motivates these guys. They are all rich and dating/married to beautiful women with huge houses. So being disrespected by media people and/or other players is one of the biggest things these guys gut upset about. the idea that Jackson might struggle sat night at home against Pittsburgh while everyone acknowledges he has won the mvp again could be just what we need to get a pissed off angry motivated team. tigerthelion Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Based on last year's standard, I think Mahomes should be the MVP if anything. Allen should win, but if not him, should go to Mahomes over Lamar. If winning matters, nobody was better than Mahomes this past season. I mean, if last year is the standard and all. Lamar having, in all likelihood, more MVP trophies at this stage than Mahomes is kind of comical. 1 Quote
