Said it before but him finishing the season in prime time while Allen plays garbage teams works in Lamar's favor. All the way down to -600... We secure the 2 seed or better, Josh is winning MVP. Josh real close to his case resting now. 2 Quote

They absolutely cannot afford injuries going in. Honestly, I think he’s got a real point and it’s not a terrible bet. We all know how much the media loves Lamar. I don't know. KC still has to play Steelers and Broncos who will also be playing for seeding the last week. And division games are always tough. Quote

The only way Allen winning the MVP means anything to me is if he also hoists the Lombardi trophy. I don't think the Bills defense is good enough to win the Lombardi this year, unless they run through three or four shootouts. And, for that to be the case, Josh and the offense need to be much better than they were today. 1 1 Quote

I have a feeling we don't see Allen play again during the regular season. If the Chiefs win on Wednesday, the Bills have literally nothing to gain. Why would they even consider risking injury? A couple huge performances by Jackson, and that Lions game will be a distant memory to MVP voters. 1 Quote

If the Ravens or Steelers win on Wednesday then the two seed is still not locked in, so the Bills will be full strength against the Jets. Both lose with a Chiefs win, and that's two seed confirmed. julian Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Allen is the heavy favourite for MVP, it was over after the Detroit game… just win and finish 14-3 and the 2 seed and we’ll be watching Allen accept his 1st MVP remotely as he prepares for the Super Bowl. Quote

The details are that the Bills won to go 12 - 3 and the Ravens are at 10 - 5. If Buffalo and Baltimore both win the rest of their games then there is no way they give it to a 12 - 5 Jackson over a 14 - 3 Allen. Quote

Billsfanatic8989 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If Lamar wins Wednesday & Allen struggles against the Jets, Lamar will likely win MVP. You can't ignore one guy playing well against two playoff teams while the other struggles against two bottom feeders. The Detroit game will be a distant memory. As a Bills fan, and being objective, I'd vote for Lamar in that case. If Lamar loses Wednesday, they still need to play starters against the Jets. You can't be resting guys for two straight weeks before the postseason begins. That's historically how one seeds would get upset. Speaking of Lamar losing Wednesday, that might wrap up the MVP race if Allen plays well against the Jets. Bottom line is no matter what, we can't have backups playing the entire game against the Jets. Too much rust. 11 minutes ago, CincyBillsFan said: If this game was an example of a team in malaise then the chiefs have been in a season long great depression. Teams who win three SB's in a 5 year span will get the benefit of the doubt compared to a team that hasn't even come close to making the SB. 2 Quote
