Warcodered Posted Tuesday at 10:45 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:45 PM I mean it is why CBS buys it every year, even though that's also why it's weirdly not a Sunday Night or Monday Night Football game. 3 Quote

The 4:25 games do really well at this point of the season (dark out early; getting colder) when the matchups are good. That 6:45-7:30 window has long been gold, especially when the good games are close. It’s why 60 Minutes was always scheduled at 7 (and it dominated ratings for decades). A lotta people crash early on Sunday nights. I am guessing the showcase 4:25 games do better than MNF. Edited Wednesday at 12:24 AM by dave mcbride 3 4 2 1 Quote

US Egg Posted Wednesday at 12:35 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:35 AM Irrelevant, but visually don’t think there’s a better looking uniform matchup. 12 5 Quote
ToGoGo Posted Wednesday at 01:07 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:07 AM It’s funny. Nobody gives Allen his due, his true due, yet everyone secretly likes to watch him play. I wonder if Allen wins a SB that his national fanbase will become way larger than typical. 3 2 Quote

It’s not that weird, likely far more eyes on the screen on Sunday afternoon, advertising revenue is all about eyes on the screen Quote

Josh is a much more likeable guy than Mahomes. If we manage to win a Super Bowl, Josh is going to blow up like nothing we've ever seen. Edited Wednesday at 01:46 AM by mannc 7 9 2 Quote

I think everyone likes him, but the narratives on him have been so bad the last 7 years that they’re hesitant to openly say he’s awesome. A Super Bowl win would be enough for people to admit it. 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM Funny. I remember watching that Pats/Colts game in the East Village and was remarking before the game this weekend that this Bills/Chiefs rivalry has become the same sort of must-see TV. 1 3 1 Quote

Not one of those people don't think he's a superstar. You should see my text messages from Sundays game. Where do you come up with 'nobody' gives him his due. Did you listen to the announcers, the talk shows? Do you know what nobody means? You're making up stuff to continue the 'whoa is buffalo' whine. It's time to stop that. 1 8 3 Quote

A Super Bowl win would be enough for people to admit it. This year, he's finally a complete quarterback. That's the only complaint talking heads could preach on him, that he was trying the dumb hero throws too much instead of the open shorter routes. But other teams' fans all know how good the guy is and how fun it is to watch him play. For years now. If they can't openly say he's awesome it's because they're jealous we have him. All my non-Bills fan friends sure are. 2 Quote

Big Blitz Posted Wednesday at 03:17 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:17 AM Yep. Every sport. They want you to hear the announcers. I don’t understand it. We want to FEEL the crowd. MLB did this during the playoffs. Yankee stadium was electric and you could barely tell - they really wanted you to hear what John Smoltz had to say. 3 2 Quote

By the time the snf game rolls around, unless it’s an intriguing matchup or my team is playing, I kind of check out. I start watching football at noon in Saturday and it rolls all day and night into Sunday so by then I’m done. The 4:25 window is prime. 49 minutes ago, Coach Tuesday said: Funny. I have been making the pats/colts- chiefs/bills comparisons a lot in my head recently. Hopefully Josh gets his over mahomes in the playoffs just like Peyton finally did over Brady 4 Quote
