The 4:25 games do really well at this point of the season (dark out early; getting colder) when the matchups are good. That 6:45-7:30 window has long been gold, especially when the good games are close. It’s why 60 Minutes was always scheduled at 7 (and it dominated ratings for decades). A lotta people crash early on Sunday nights. I am guessing the showcase 4:25 games do better than MNF.

It’s funny. Nobody gives Allen his due, his true due, yet everyone secretly likes to watch him play. 
 

I wonder if Allen wins a SB that his national fanbase will become way larger than typical.

It’s not that weird, likely far more eyes on the screen on Sunday afternoon, advertising revenue is all about eyes on the screen
