Jets are a joke of an organization.  They set themselves up for failure all of last year and in the offseason, only to then get rid of Saleh (who isn't a great HC, but is serviceable) and their GM lol.

Offseason:

Sign Mike Williams

Sign Greg Zuerlein and cut Austin Seibert who now has been a great kicker for Washington

Trade a 3rd for Reddick and then cant work out a deal to get him on the field day 1

Putrid.  Bad.  Unacceptable.

*****!  Now the Bills' window is really closed

Actually, the Bills' window has probably widened.  Woody Johnson still owns the team, and his boy Aaron is solidified as second-in-command.

Wonderful. Just wonderful.  This is the best thing to happen in the AFC since Tom Brady retired and the Dolphins extended Tua.

Is there anyone we want from the coming Jets fire sale? I'm thinking DL/OL.

They were on the right track.  Douglas failed to build an o-line, and zac wilson was a huge miss, but the jets were well positioned in many areas with young talent.  Had good assets, cap situation, and a HC that the players seemed to show up for.

Whoever decided to steer left and stake the fanchise into that galaxy brained qb and his whims is at fault.

If they played everything smart, and ended up with Mayfield or cousins or something things would be much different.

And that’s why Bills, Pats, and Fish fans should all love Woody Johnson. 😂

Here's the thing: Douglas is a pretty good talent evaluator. He was part of the FO group that got the Eagles Super Bowl squad together. He's made some very nice picks.

But like Doug Whaley, he was short a QB and hoo boy did that cost him. I don't even blame him for taking a shot on Rodgers. But all that money that's been kicked back, and then all the players and coaches they got to make Rodgers happy have been a millstone.

Like Salah before him, Douglas is not the singular reason that the Jets are in this state. Maybe he didn't help, but I don't see that team going anywhere with Rogers, and next year might be a painful offramp

I wonder which one will draft Shedeur and hire Deion.

Deion will not let Shedeur go to the Jets.  Curious if Deion wants to go to the NFL.  Will he aid his son from afar or position himself to be his coach.  Wild thing to follow.

I alwasy thought of Douglas like Whaley. Whaley brought in great talent, but never built a good roster and was horrible with the most important picks. HC and QB

I forgot about the Reddick situation lol. The Eagles sign the younger Bryce Huff away from you, then you part with a 3rd and the 30 something year old Reddick holds out half the season. Then you capitulate and give him a big contract. You can't make that crap up.

Firesale incoming? ripe pickin for beane to bolster the D!

Would the Jets trade with the Bills? The asking price would certainly be higher if they trade any of their players within the division.

They have one winnable game against the jags. They’ll be picking high enough for a qb

How will that help?  They've whiffed on 3 top five QBs in the last 15 years: Sanchez (2009), Darnold (2018), and Wilson (2021) plus a 2nd rounder in 2013 (Smith).  Smith and Darnold have gone on to become decent starting QBs, which is only more embarrassing because both looked like something nasty you don't want to step in when with the Jests.

It’s funny to laugh at the Jets but I actually do not like this.

I wish they kept Douglas. Now they may find someone good, instead of a known mediocre quantity.

Woody is the cancer, and he's not going anywhere.  I'm confident the fish will keep rotting from the head.
