Remaining Schedule: Chiefs/Bills

KC realistically could lose 5 of those games. Denver had them.

No, meaning both teams were 11-2 heading into that game, and there was a lot of suspicion that could be a SB preview.  Funny enough, that game was on Dec 15th as well.  So another late in the season matchup that could be a SB preview.

The Chargers should have won the last game, you never know what you get from Winston in the Browns (Saint or sinner), Houston should have their WRs back or at least one, Pitt has proven they are for real this year with a revitalized Wilson, and Denver should have beaten them last time if not for that chip shot blocked FG.

 

Juxtapose SF is not the same, and Detroit is a wrecking machine.  I peg us at 14-3 with the head to head.

 

The last piece to this for the #1 seed is the Steelers.

@ Eagles

@Ravens

@Steelers

 

Theres no way a Tomlin led team will run the table.  The terrible towels will probably lose 2.

 

So nothing is easy, but I’m feeling a lot better for at least a fighters chance at the #1 seed. What I don’t know is will we learn enough in the first Detroit game to beat them in the big show.  For me, it’s enjoy the ride amd we’ll know in a couple of months.

The Bills will be favored in 5 of their last 6 games.   They are a better team than 5-5 SF and 5-5 LAR.  NE and the Jets stink and are basically already eliminated from the playoffs.  Is the LAR game a "trap" game because it's on the road on the West Coast?  Maybe, but the Bills have been very good under McD since 2020 playing at or near the Left Coast.  Honestly, the Det game is the only one that scares me. That team is scary, but a victory over Det on the road should give us great confidence heading into the playoffs.

Everybody seems to be giving the Bills a loss in the Lions game. While that may be the case, we could have a game like the Texans had against them where Goff was really off and threw 5 INTs. Also Milano might be back for that one. As long as doesnt go the way of the Thanksgiving game in 1994 I think we should be in it!

I’m worried about the Bills playoff mentality against the Chiefs more than anything, so it doesn’t really matter where the game is at.

 

I want the Bills to win EVERY game, no matter what.

 

Let the chips fall where they may. The one seed, two seed, three seed…. it doesn’t matter to me.

There are sites out now with recent lines on the 49ers at Bills - range from Bills favored by 3-3.5 with O/U in the 47-48 range.  Niners are probably even more banged up than the Bills and they've already had their bye.

Agree. Annual reminder that McD and Josh have an insane record in Dec. I have no fears they will come out ready after 2020 when our backups came in during the first half and we hung 50 on a dolphins team that was win and in.

The Lions are winnable too. I know they are a top team and its all the praise right now, but really, they blew out a bunch of nobodies and played close games they escaped against good teams. They can definitely be beat.

Yep.  Forgot that one.  31-10 W.  That brings us to 7-1 as you mentioned with a differential of +89.

 

"Trap" West Coast games don't really seem like an issue for McD and the Bills.

after watching monday night chargers game...  chiefs better buckle up if they dont want to come down with some injuries.   they might kill worthy.

i could totally be wrong but to me it seems like we have a different playoff mindset, when it comes to coaching...we seem more timid, more reserved, 

more cautious.

We match up well with the lions and they are down 2 defensive starters. We are getting g healthy at the right time

That has in fact been a problem at times, but the 13 second fiasco was horrible, horrible coaching. We have been bit by the injury bug during the playoffs but so have other teams. Injuries or not the last game of our seasons, the defense has always underachieved. The good QBs pick our zone apart come playoff time as we seem to get very little pressure, and the offense has to be really on.
