Figure this is always something I look at during the bye week.  This season, it is actually even more relevant with the Bills' spot nearly 100% locked in, as well as the other cross-over Divisions

Last season at Rich Stadium!

With 9 home games, we could be ripe for the pickins for an international game.

Home
Miami
New England
Jets
Baltimore
Cincinnati
New Orleans
Tampa Bay
Kansas City (6% Chance its the chargers)
Eagles (16% Chance its the Redskins)

Away
Miami
New England

Jets
Steelers
Falcons
Panthers
Browns
Texans (5% Colts)

First thought is, what a high-leveraged home side AFC schedule.  Baltimore, Cincy, and KC at home.

Incorrect…

AFC at NFC next year in placemrnt games

2021 nfc east at afc east placement

2022  afc east at nfc west placement

2023 nfc south at afc east placement

2024 afc east at nfc north placement

2025 at nfc east

2026 nfc west

2027 at nfc south

2028 nfc north

2935 st eagles/ Commandoes

likeky Commandoes given the big difference in schedule. Philly has balt, pitt, rams, was while was has 2 against dal and Atlanta.

We will open with Cinci

As the winner of the SB, I'm guessing Eagles...  🙂

NOTE IN SCHEDULE

2025 is the last year of the cycles of

2002-2009

2010-2017

2918-2025

inb2026 they could change the team pairings which affect who is home and road and when. Right now miami- buffalo is a pair. Thry could flip pairs putting buf with jets/ pats in scheduling.

in 2010 thry flipped Seattle pairing ehivh us why it went….

2004 st sesttle, 2008 sesttle, 2023 sesttle 2016 st seattle, 2020 Seattle 2024 at Seattle

Selfishly I'd love another international game - London was a blast.  As it now stands, next year's road schedule is lame, none of those cities looks like a fun place to go party for a weekend.

I always look for a fun road game, but this year it looks like that will just be Atlanta, where I live. I don’t see anything else that draws me.

While I enjoyed the London trip, I don’t like messing with the integrity of the game. Goodell apparently doesn’t care quite as much, imo. “Experiment” my ass.

With Atlanta nearby and Carolina a 4-hour drive away, hoping the schedule is conducive to attending one or both of those games. I'd be pissed if they make either of them international games, though I'm guessing it's unlikely with the Bills scheduled for 9 home games. I'm thinking either of those games may seem like a home game with massive representation by the southern contingent of Bills' mafia in attendance.

I hope the game in Cleveland stays and isn't an international game or anything.

If we win the Super Bowl, I'll say it's Cincy @ Buffalo to open the season

If we don't, I'll say Tampa @ Buffalo at 1pm or Eagles @ Buffalo on SNF

I'm guessing CBS protects Chiefs/Bills again it's a mid-late season 4:25 window once again.

CBS can protect, but only if they get assigned the game in the first place.

Also, it will be Buffalo next year at the NFC East winner, most likely Philly or Washington (assuming both of us finish in first place).

And unlikely that Buffalo at Cleveland is international, since both teams are AFC and the NFC gets the extra game next year.

How about Germany?

We just played the NFC East LAST YEAR!  Why would we play them again next year?  Rotation should be NFC South (which would be sweet). What am I missing?

The NFL can switch things around when a cycle comes to an end. We played home to Washington in 2021, so it makes sense to play at the NFC East for the 17th game next year.

Except, as @djp14150 noted above, we actuallg play at the NFC East next year.

I don't think they do.  They have 9 away games this season and are @ Detroit for the Conference 1st place crossover game.  Next season they will have 9 home games.  Based on the rotation, that game is the NFC East #1.  Seems like an imbalance because they played Washington at home as their NFC 1st place crossover in 2021.

We definitely need the 9 home games for the last year at the Ralph - gonna just be so many iconic moments and I for one, want to be there as many times as humanly possible given that I live 6 hours away!

I hope they honor those 4 teams that went to the 4 straight Super Bowls....That would be a great moment for this franchise...and may be the Bills win the SB twice to close out the stadium built by Ralph Wilson.

If they get another international game, I'd put my money on Germany.
