They are 8-2 and have only given up 162 points thru 10 games. Also, they have arguably the best defensive player in football in TJ Watt. They will be a tough out for anyone including the Bills.

They have played some bad offenses. Their last two wins are impressive but they are Jayden Daniels (rookie) and a divisional opponent they seem to have a Hex on. Bengals x 2, Eagles and Chiefs still to come, plus Ravens in Baltimore. We will know by the post season what that defense really is.

I know. The sarcasm laced in the post obviously doesn't compute to everyone.

10 games in, I think it’s safe to say the Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league.  That said, I’d still take us H2H versus them, as I don’t see their offense doing too much against our defense.  And Josh will be able

to lead our offense to at least 20 points against them.

Some things that I think are distinguishing this Bills team from others in the past include:

1.  Coaching - The preparation, gameday execution AND in-game adjustments are really setting the players up for success.

2.  Josh & Bernard - These two guys are the unquestioned leaders of the offense and defense.  Both are taking their games to the next level, and doing the same with those around them.

3.  Consistency - This team is as consistent as they come, in terms of figuring out ways to beat their opponents.  And I think that’s a reflection of the depth and versatility this roster brings to the table, and again the coaching figuring out how to tap

into what they have.

4.  Offensive Line - One staple of the 90s Bills teams was a great offensive line.  And I think we finally have an offensive line that is about as good as we’ve have in 25+ years.  This opens up so much for both the run and passing games, and further lessens the chances of Josh taking hits and turning the ball over.

All the above said, I don’t think we’ve seen complete greatness from this team yet.  The Chiefs team we just beat has a lot of flaws at the moment.  We still had some key players out too.  The next few games should offer some additional tests for us, to see whether those Ravens and Texan losses were bc of the injuries or not.  Can we keep the streak going right through the Lions game?

Disagree.  He kept running the ball which, while not terribly successful, kept their D honest and helped set up successful paly action.  He called plays that took advantage of the middle of the field where the Chiefs D was weak and got Samuel involved.  Josh is a superman yes, but you can't deny the success the offense has had with Brady as OC.

5-5 under Dorsey, 16-4 under Brady since, counting playoffs, and three of those losses came down to the failure to execute a successful kick, which is not on Brady.  Same quarterback.

I would say Brady has had quite an impact.

if bass doesn't miss the extra point and Allen didn't throw that bad int, we get 34 points without a decent amount of starters and a game plan that is obviously hiding some stuff.

That interception was on 4th down. We weren't getting a field goal, because McD had decided to go for it (which I like). That's why I don't think it was really a bad interception, though the return made it seem a lot worse.

I’m not sure there’s a whole lot that’s different about the overall product though.

Not much of what Brady was doing was actually working, it was still a lot of Josh wearing the cape on 3rd and 4th down. Those are not high percentage plays, he’s just an animal but it makes it all so much harder. The ask from him is much more than the ask of the Chiefs from Mahomes.

And we knew if we kicked the FG and made them score a TD…they would have. Same if we didn’t convert and they just needed a FG. McD knows his side of the ball can’t get it done when it matters most, especially against that team.

I’m still optimistic because I think #17 can win us that game in January. But I think it’s the same story as all the other seasons in the playoffs under this regime…he’s going to have to be Superman for us to do it.

Not really...Mahomes was having to try and wear the cape to get anything going much more than Allen was yesterday. Bills scored 30 missing 3 offensive starters.  I'd say that is pretty good production.

Technically 19-9 with Dorsey as OC.  But do agree that Brady is running a better offense for this team than Dorsey was.

I believe the Bills are a tight-knit team with a lot of camaraderie and esprit d'corps.  I think Beane deserves a lot of credit for acquiring the right kind of guys regardless of the criticisms that he should draft for talent instead of drafting process guys when he blends both.

I think McD and his coaches also deserve a lot of credit because a culture is built from the top.

In the army, we might have called culture a "combat multiplier."  It makes your weapons even more effective.  Same in football.

But the Bills aren't the only team in the NFL with a good culture.  And culture is only part of the formula.  Talent also matters as does scheme and play-calling.  And injuries and luck.  It was great to hear Amari's observations but, sadly, the Bills' specialness is no guarantee.

Against Houston it was simpler:

1. Josh played his worst half of the year in that first half, by far;

2. A rookie DB who missed camp making his first start was "got" for two touchdowns one through the air and one on the ground; and

3. Strange playcalling at the end.

Against Baltimore more complicated but:

1. When Dorian Williams is the "senior" player at your second level you are struggling against a team like them and they went after our linebackers and nickel relentlessly with their gameplan;

2. I thought Babich made a really bad adjustment after the first drive to go bigger and play 4-3 base and they killed us with Justice Hill the rest of the first half;

3. They exploited our lack of outside receiver talent at that point by stacking the middle of the field and taking Shakir and Kincaid away. The two plays we made Sunday to Cooper make such a difference in that game. If we can just make a couple of those each big game it stops teams using the Ravens blueprint of "give the Bills the deep outside 'cos they can't beat you there."

And actually, how many superman plays did Josh really have to make on Sunday? Sure, the amazing play at the end and the play to Cooper with a guy in his grill. There were a couple of others too I'm sure that aren't springing to mind, but there were also plays to Hollins and Knox and Shakir and Samuel in big spots that were just well schemed up, good plays that Josh made the throw and his receiver made the catch.

Ya those type of plays to Cooper opens everything up..

What's different is that we have a WR that can win matchups 1v1 outside, and catch passes downfield. We didn't have that last year after Diggs fell off a cliff. Make no mistake - we lose the Chiefs game on Sunday without those two big catches from Cooper (both drives ended in TDs). He is a massive difference maker as long as he stays healthy entering the playoffs.

I don’t know about blowing the Ravens out in the playoffs, but it’s plausible we win.  The same goes for the Texans.  The Texans would definitely be a win.

The Ravens game if that happens will need to start fast.  We can’t take the methodical approach where we feel out the opponents in the first half.  We go up by two TD’s and that plays into our hands as the Ravens can’t rip us apart on the ground, and I’ll take Josh over Lamar six days a week and twice on Sunday.

HFA for the Bills will be huge.

I’m trying to figure out why this team imploded against the Texans and ravens, who now have worse records than us

Ravens - they're built to beat us.  A power running team with a lead can give us fits.

Texans - we beat ourselves.  I think if we play them 10 times, we're coming out 6-4 or 7-3.

It's a great team and I think when they beat Detroit in convincing fashion the media will start to concede how great they are.

But I'm going to enjoy destroying KC in the AFC championship in Buffalo. That's going to be special.

I'm going to buffalo 🦬 to celebrate in the parade

They're going to destroy everyone in the playoffs. You guys will see

Go Bills!

McDermott has a great record vs the NFC.  In the last three seasons they only lost two games (Phila and Minno) both in OT.

That said I am concerned about this one because it's away.

Idk what it is but there's truly something special with this group.

I guess cutting all the dead weight, especially at WR has proven to pay massive dividends,  not only in play but in the locker room.

17 just looks and feels like he's rejuvenated,  guys are having fun, we suddenly have an influx of youth.

This will be the first of many SBs.

Here is Coop, who is a quiet, reserved guy , think he truly talks from the heart on playing with this group.

Something special is brewing,  enjoy the ride, can't wait to go to my 2nd bills game ever 12/27. Still hyped over the big dub

the best thing we ever did was getting rid of our locker room cancer know josh can do his thing
