ok i had to go back to buffalo plus...and revive my memory, which is pretty much road kill at this point.   i guess after the indy game

players were coming up to him and saying wow...awesome catch (30 yard catch against indy)   and that was when he said..hey i been doing this for

awhile guys.

Ad libbing a bit here but i guess when Dawson was interviewed post game they asked him how it felt to make a Td.

His answer was just..hey...ive been here before and done that.

at the end i was really beginning to think Daboll had completely lost his mind but...man he did an excellent job

scheming players for a while.

Brady should lock himself in the closet for about 12 hrs and just keep watching this video.

I had totally forgot how great of an outlet player Dawson was.   and only one time in this entire video did i see an outlet player or screen

lined up directly lateral from Josh.   Some of these plays Dawson was an out right bully.

What are you talking about?  There plenty of examples of Brady wrinkles. Why do you think we’re so good in the 3rd quarter?  Brady runs the same plays from slightly different alignments cause he knows what the defense will be. This creates the rubs and leverage that spring so many plays. Be angry at his scripted plays but not at his ability to throw a wrinkle sheesh.

what im saying is...most all of the plays are just straight forward..heres a standard play, go make it.   there may be 5 variations of that standard play...but,

they are for the most part standard plays.

you seen the one trick play that was an abomination and about got josh killed.

I'm not hating on brady..but... its still 30 shades of vanilla.

So you want more trick plays?  I hated that one call and am good with 30 shades (wrinkles) of vanilla. It’s doing pretty good. And it’s not just variations. It’s coaching points to beat the way the defense is playing.  Those are wrinkles to me. Trick plays are something else. I think he could do a bit better scripting plays early and taking advantage of known defensive tendencies. But dude is able to make his gameplan work later in the game by making super minor adjustments.

i'd like some plays...where.....u have a few plays in  your pocket that fool the defense...maybe you dont need them in certain games but take the end of the game.

pass play was called..nothing special to it...chiefs knew exactly what was coming...josh thinks quick and makes the play.   but...it wasnt because of some great play call.

i dont want to be miami or baltimore where u live off crazy motion all game long..but you cant deny that there arnent situations where its extremely benificial.

Wasn't he the one who stopped on the interception yesterday?

Yes and that's my biggest problem with Knox - he has very poor understanding of spacing, leverage, reading coverages, and making himself available for his QB. On that play he runs into the CB and just stops... What could he possibly have been thinking there? He effectively capped his own route and took himself out of the play, and the CB finished the route for him and made the catch that Knox was supposed to make. His physical skills pop when he's asked to perform a basic assignment and not think, but introduce any level of complexity and he just can't be trusted at all.

The one unique play that that we ran this week that I really like a lot, and is going to give some defenses some pause when defending it going forward, is we ran our normal quarterback sweep, but with the pass option.

this means that defense really needs to be diligent about keeping their defensive backfield covering downfield even when Josh and the guards pull out and it looks like an obvious Allen run

Well the motion is not gonna stop. It’s been helping Josh ID the coverage.

The Josh run is also the same play that fooled the dolphins completely on critical 4th down. It’s an awesome play call against man (pretty much unstoppable). But they played zone and it ain’t good at that. However, the coaching point is to take off if the trick Josh and come out in zone. Why? Cause when Josh threatens the line of scrimmage a coverage player has to leave their responsibility and there’s and an easyish toss. So to me it’s a well designed play against man and has a well coached point that Josh executed as super man.  I’m not sure what you want from any OC if the DC knows what’s coming (why game script matters).

Also of note Josh gets two play calls in the huddle. He’s puts us in one of them. If he had IDed zone he would’ve switched the call. Brady seems to have ok play design but it is a bit more simple. That’s different than Dorsey’s plays that had an answer for everything but were complicated.  Brady will make the simple work (not a TD but successful) by doing super slight things like changing the width of the formation. Keeping the plays simple lets players execute better while doing the slight adjustments to make plays pretty much always successful. He could probably scheme things up a bit better but the offense you’re asking for is essentially Dorsey’s. I’ll take Brady’s all day.

this was posted in 22 and has 13 mins off bang bang play after play highlights.

Imo, it is past glory. He is an adequate player but I can't remember when he had the last angry run. And even in the past, had issues with dropsies. And this past weekend , I felt he put in inadequate effort on a critical pass thrown at him. With Kincaid playing steadily , Knox has been reduced to a role player, for which he is being paid a lot.

I doubt he is a Bill next season.

Yes, Josh thought he should have kept going and Knox stopped.

He did but the defender already had leverage IMO. That play was on Josh who should have waited a split second longer for Samuel to uncover. Brady even said it yesterday in his presser. He wouldn't take back the playcall, Josh wants the execution back. They showed Josh on the sideline after in with the ipad kinda pounding his helmet I think he knew straight away that was a bad play.

Maybe another restructure to lower his take home. Allen would not be happy if they let Knox go now.

I saw 2 guys yesterday making the case for more plying time and targets. Dawson and Samuel.

I believe Samuel's injury in training camp was more serious than reported.  He's looking much better these past few games.

he broke his wrist or some sort of hand are injury that he tried to play through it, had a bunch of drops and he died in the hearts of a lot of fans.

But he remains the player who lives the most in Allen's head on offense.

guy has 22 targets all year.  if he's living in there, he's in the basement...

Maybe Brady is keeping a lot under wraps until the playoffs.

this seems like a myth thing from fans. sure you might hold onto a few plays, but refusing to scheme up a player on a pretty hefty contract, in hopes of unleashing in playoffs is silly.  first, were not the staff to jump in and trust someone like that without earning that trust first, and knox has had almost no targets this year.  secondly, what an absolute waste of resources to keep it under wraps for a full 17game season, not to mention, getting a specific package open on tape, can help open up other things by keeping a defense honest.
