A cleansing of the image is basically what it feels like. 

 

But he is still a tool who cheated and crossed and blurred the lines. And I for one am glad that it seems (from his own comments) that McD is not that type of coach.

 

I prefer my coaches with principles rather than, "win at all costs", which not only permeates in the NFL, but has crept into all walks of society.

Well said. And honestly this is it perfectly for where I’m at. 
His situation right now is just analysis and a coaching perspective. Something he was top tier at. 

If he returns to football as a Head Coach then yes, he’ll revert to the tarnished image I have of him.
 

One I haven’t lost, just merely set to the side given the lack of actual quality most football panels broadcast for us to digest over the recent years.

thats how much the game has changed since he left it. the first two years out of hte league he knew every play and look. now it's changed drastically.
