PoundingDog Posted Tuesday at 02:18 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:18 AM Looking back on that ep, I found the discussion on the empty formation is very good and of course a lot of examples on Allen. Also they reminisced their success on using and defending empty formations. I also saw Belichick's comment on Chiefs/Bills result today on McAfee show. And it is pretty much consistent with his thought in this video before the game was played: all it matters is in the playoff for the Bills to knock off the Chiefs. By the way, now we see Belichick on all kind of shows and that he is pretty animated in conversations, I wonder it is a shtick he put on when he did his press conferences while coaching. 1 1 Quote
Einstein Posted Tuesday at 02:28 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:28 AM I could listen to Belichick talk all day. Not a comment I ever imagined myself making in the past, but his knowledge just jumps off the screen. I watched him during the Bills/Jets game and he was routinely calling out what was going to happen before it happened. 1 6 Quote

It's probably an extension of the kind of thing McDermott does when he basically says as little as possible about who is going to be able to come back from injury and play. Give away as little as possible to the other team. 2 Quote

His GM skills need work, but there's no doubt he'd still out coach many of the guys in this league. 1 1 Quote

Can't imagine a 24 year-old have the patience to deal with someone portraited in those press conference. 1 Quote
Saxum Posted Tuesday at 05:21 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:21 PM Large portions of the video was just the two of them just going over P*ts games; I was waiting for them to do a mutual back patting. 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted Tuesday at 05:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:53 PM (edited) How long ago was this filmed? They both thought Coleman and Kincaid would be playing...should have known at least Coleman was out and if it was a few days prior Kincaid also. Edited Tuesday at 05:53 PM by Big Turk 1 Quote

I also can't imagine someone her age dealing with a grumpy grandpa on top of his wrinkles and his Viagra popping for a bf. She's not even a millennial. 1 Quote

Mat68 Posted Tuesday at 07:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:03 PM Patricia makes the easiest of concepts seem like aero engineering lol. Would like to see a Gruden style solo breakdown. Bill is going where Patricia takes him and it’s not far imo. 1 Quote

The whole grumpy persona and mumbling through his Patriots press conferences and saying nothing was totally a schtick. That was pretty well known from the people that were around him in-season. He did occasionally do offseason interviews where he would be a totally normal guy with a completely different personality. 1 Quote

Belichick does not look to be one of those old men who would go down the path like whoever married Ann Nicole Smith. He may gave her a condo in New York and she makes him feel young again. Quote

This guy got divorced from his HC and separated from a woman he was with 20 years immediately after his marital divorce. Seems like he’s found a new, youthful joy to life. Im with @Einstein, enjoying Bill in any way was something I never thought I’d say but here we are. The man is very enjoyable for football talk. This podcast, Coach. The Breakdown with Peyton. Inside the NFL. Manningcast on MNF. And Pat McAfee’s show. If you’re a football fan he’s worth the watch/listen. 1 Quote

Unlike Romo who made wrong call after wrong call........"they've got 3 lined-up on the high side here, look for JA to pass it to Cooper.......nope, it's a run. I didn't see that one coming". I just think the media tour and even the "girlfriend" is calculated by him and his agent/team, with eyes on head coaching in 2025. Doesnt even need to be a fake "girlfriend". Win win for him. A cleansing of the image is basically what it feels like. But he is still a tool who cheated and crossed and blurred the lines. And I for one am glad that it seems (from his own comments) that McD is not that type of coach. I prefer my coaches with principles rather than, "win at all costs", which not only permeates in the NFL, but has crept into all walks of society. I know many Bills fans do not agree. Tangent done. 1 1 1 Quote
