Couldn’t a spy have used that same open lane to shoot through and get Allen? Technically you are correct it is possible I am not a fan of spying with two yards to go... It can work but a lot of times it just is taking a guy out of a drop zone when a quick completion is needed... When he put eight guys around the line of scrimmage... He could have sent six including one in the Gap Josh ran through That's why analytics says to go for it when you have Josh Allen in 4th 1 or 2... He's really hard to stop from getting two yards It's pick your poison Edited Tuesday at 11:49 PM by Buffalo716 Quote

The interview after the game said Torrence just pushed Jones out of the way using his own momentum. They didn’t mention a line shift, they said Jones went one way and Torrence used that against him. I’m sure you know more about football than me but I’m a recovering alcoholic and I know how to spot overthinking LOL Edited Tuesday at 11:52 PM by WotAGuy Quote

The tackles and the Right guard were left one on one Every single play they have a protection where it's sliding some way Doesn't have to be announced in the press conference.. happens every play Edited yesterday at 12:00 AM by Buffalo716 Quote

I specifically talked about this play to talk about how little details in coaching can make a big difference There was great coaching on display for four quarters.. from the game plan to the calls The thread is about how good the coaching was on Sunday.. from top down I just highlighted the biggest play of the game because there's nuance in there that comes from preparation and coaching And a lot of this board thinks we have overrated coaches Edited yesterday at 12:03 AM by Buffalo716 1 1 Quote

Our defense was controlling the majority of the game not there offense If there's one thing you should learn its that Joe Brady will continue to run the ball whether it's successful or not because it keeps the defense honest And wears them out I sure hope Bills stay true to themselves. And keep running at 'em. I was pleased to see Ty get reps in a row. Brady is really thinking hard about how to succeed Sunday and for the Season with these 3 guys + Josh. As we all know , if you can stick with the run long enough , the pass game will open up. A nd if you do that part right ? The Run game then opens up more favorably. Dont want to get ahead of my old self here. But seem Brady and now McD are playing the long game with what they show and mostly relying on execution and discipline to play Bills football 👍🤠 Gol darn this is FUN. Go Bills 1 1 Quote

And the tiny things in the play The one thing Josh has became very very good at is pre-snap protections .. and he struggled early in his career He could never slide the line the right way... Now it's something that's comfortable to him and I think that's coachability and preparation But top down Sean has the people in the building doing things the right way day in and day out... MJS Posted yesterday at 12:19 AM Posted yesterday at 12:19 AM (edited) I think 20 years from now a lot of fans will be looking back with fondness on this team, including McDermott and Beane. McDermott gets just WAY too much criticism. He is a really good coach. Most of the time fans are just throwing out vitriol his way without even understanding what they are watching or the nature of NFL football. Like the idiotic claims that he is conservative when he has shown time and time again that he is aggressive and follows the analytics as close as any coach in the NFL. Kromer's blocking scheme and coaching certainly is the reason they did that They just didn't do it out of nowhere Love The Kromer Always have Forgave him for the Beach Chairs long ago , and never looked back. His investment is shining this year, on both him by McBeanes and how the Offense is "meshing " lol 1 Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted yesterday at 12:26 AM Posted yesterday at 12:26 AM 1 hour ago, GaryPinC said: People were talking that this game was almost meaningless, McD admitting the Chiefs are too good to kick the late field goal followed by staying aggressive on defense the last drive blows that perception out of the water. Now his players have lived it and that confidence has been created for next time. Let's hope he applies it to all the playoff teams past the first round. Continuous improvement McD, well done. I wasn't. I think some were probably just thinking we beat them in the regular season before. What matters is the playoffs, so a loss while not meaningless, doesn't mean much if they lose to them in the playoffs later. Quote
