Here are the top responses to losing: 1) “This was the Bills Super Bowl. They unloaded their clip against us and we played it vanilla. We held back.” This has been written ad nauseum by what seems like every poster there. Of course, there is zero evidence for this and multiple Bills players said it’s just another week. But its pretty funny to see Chiefs fans cope this way. 2) “The Chiefs are just going through the motions until the playoffs. They only care and play when the playoffs start.” Ahh, the Chiefs players aren’t really trying and don’t care. That must be why Mahomes had a crybaby hissy fit when we beat them last year in the regular season, and also why he ran screaming onto the field last week when they beat Denver. 3) “We were missing Pacheco and (some other random player)” Guess they don’t know we were missing our #1 WR, #1 TE, #1 RT, and our #2 WR was playing with a cast. Oh and our all-pro LB. Pretty funny stuff. If you want to see more, ChiefsPlanet is the place to laugh. It all could be true. If the Bills were in the same position, we would be giving the same excuses. Nature of NFL Fandom...Go Bills !!! 1 2 Quote

No. I am very confident that it is NOT true that we unloaded our full arsenal of plays (while running basic inside runs over and over) while the Chiefs played vanilla. 5 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted Tuesday at 04:30 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:30 AM The Chief purposely played vanilla? Delusional denial. Love being in their heads like this! 1 Quote

I can't believe Brady is showing our entire playbook to our arch-rivals!!" is exactly what was going through my mind when we did like our 15th straight inside run for 1 yard on first down. 🙄 Its not like we haven't already seen pretty much their entire playbook. Do they think Reid schemes up new plays that no one has ever seen, every week for the last 10 years? Quote
BigAl2526 Posted Tuesday at 05:21 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:21 AM Assuming Buffalo meets KC in the playoffs, it will be a different Buffalo team. Presumably, Kincaid and Coleman will be back healthy. Amari Cooper should be healthier and more familiar with Buffalo's large playbook. On defense, Buffalo should have Carter and Milano back. Buffalo could go the whole game and not run a single play they used in the win on Sunday. 1 4 Quote
MJS Posted Tuesday at 05:22 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:22 AM Well, it matters if we beat them in the playoffs. I'm not dunking on them until that happens. We beat them and it was a great win, but the playoffs are what matter most. 1 1 1 2 Quote
JJGauna Posted Tuesday at 05:29 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:29 AM I bet the Taylor Swift fan message board has more relevant football discussion. Cya in the playoffs Chefs. 2 Quote

Yes, but if you dunk on them now and then we beat them in the playoffs you could have doubled your dunking pleasure. 🤷♂️ 1 1 Quote

It’s still a heck of an accomplishment before we even get to the possible playoff game imo. The Chiefs have lost three games since December 10th,2023 (16-3 .840 win pct) and two of them were to the bills. Even if you don’t want to focus on just the chiefs, that win was absolutely massive with regards to building a bit of a cushion between us and Baltimore and for potential tiebreaker situations with the Steelers if that division goes another way. An absolutely enormous win that meant a lot Edited Tuesday at 05:35 AM by Generic_Bills_Fan 4 1 Quote

An absolutely enormous win that meant a lot Well, it was a big win because it was a conference game and it helps the Bills with seeding. Plus, the Chiefs are a good team and when you beat good teams, that shows you what you are made of. So, yes, it was a great regular season win. But that only matters if we can get it done and beat them in the playoffs. 13 minutes ago, transient said: Yes, but if you dunk on them now and then we beat them in the playoffs you could have doubled your dunking pleasure. 🤷♂️ I'll just dunk on them twice in the playoffs when we beat them. 1 1 Quote

Can't find evidence in a quick google search, but without question I remember hearing about Reid's offseason obsession with studying and learning under different influences... Quote

I’d trade all the regular season wins against KC for just one of their wins in the playoffs against the Bills. Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM We've been the better team and Josh Allen has been the better QB since 21. Injury to key players and 13 seconds is the only reason anyone thinks otherwise 3 1 Quote

We lost tre white, Matt Milano and von Miller to season ending injury along with Allen hurting his elbow in 22. None of that happened to KC. In 21 with a healthy number 1 CB, Jerry Hughes and no Milano, we blew them out in arrowhead In 22 with no number 1 CB but a healthy Von Miller and Milano we beat them again in arrowhead In 23 with no Milano, no healthy Von and Douglas we beat them again in arrowhead In 24 with a number one CB in Benford, a healthy Von and healthy Bernard we won by two scores ( not counting Allen's turnover and missed extra point) and Kelce has 2 catches for 8 yards.... Context matters and nobody is winning trophies without your core all pro players 1 Quote

Not to mention the designed pressures where Chris Jones dropped to cover a crossing route so that their best DB could rush the passer on 3rd down. Or playing more zone defense than they have ever played against the Bills in these meetings. Nah. Just totes vanilla. Never got past page 1 of the playbook I'm sure. 4 1 Quote
