Chiefs fan excuses

Even after today’s game, KC fans are like yeah we’re fine, no worries, when the playoffs start the Chiefs will unlock playoff mode and defeat everyone just like they always do.

 

Well i’m not seeing it. They are a good NFL team this season. They are not special in any way. Their defense has been exposed in recent weeks and the O is not steamrolling anyone.  KC is trending towards an early playoff exit in their first game.  Calling it now i don’t think the Bills even play KC in the playoffs this season.

Their QB is absolutely special dude. Come on. So is Chris Jones.

I kind of wonder if Mahomes will have a meltdown when his team is down 20 in the 4th quarter during the playoffs, or will he just quietly resign himself to his fate?

 

Beating the Panthers on a walk off FG is not a good sign at all.

Mahomes will show class but you'll definitely see some side comments in the media against Allen.

Disregarding all the hardware one guy has, this is exactly how I see it. I would add Mahomes also has a little bit more of a clutch “Jordan” gene to him.

Mahomes is the greatest 4th qtr/ comeback QB of all time. That's not hyperbole

Until KC is beaten in the playoffs, it doesn’t really matter. They are 10-1 and winning ugly but as they say winning ugly is better than losing. I’m hopeful they get a few more losses in the regular season.

Minshew may have had an outside chance to upset KC next friday, but his left shoulder looked to be wrecked on a sack. He’s out, Desmond Ridder has no chance to beat KC.

They literally lost to the raiders at home on Christmas last year with like 3 passes completed against them.

KC is still the team to beat and they are still the champs until someone knocks them off
