Einstein Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just for fun, I visited the Chiefs forum. Here are the top responses to losing: 1) “This was the Bills Super Bowl. They unloaded their clip against us and we played it vanilla. We held back.” This has been written ad nauseum by what seems like every poster there. Of course, there is zero evidence for this and multiple Bills players said it’s just another week. But its pretty funny to see Chiefs fans cope this way. 2) “The Chiefs are just going through the motions until the playoffs. They only care and play when the playoffs start.” Ahh, the Chiefs players aren’t really trying and don’t care. That must be why Mahomes had a crybaby hissy fit when we beat them last year in the regular season, and also why he ran screaming onto the field last week when they beat Denver. 3) “We were missing Pacheco and (some other random player)” Guess they don’t know we were missing our #1 WR, #1 TE, #1 RT, and our #2 WR was playing with a cast. Oh and our all-pro LB. Pretty funny stuff. If you want to see more, ChiefsPlanet is the place to laugh. 1 1 Quote

It has been hilarious listening to Chiefs Kingdom go on and on about this being our Superbowl and how their coaches only wanted to see how we will play them in the Playoffs. Like we went out there and ran anything exotic or even had our complete list of weapons. Quote
NickelCity Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Until we beat them in the playoffs and/or lift a trophy, there's not much to say. We've beaten them in the regular season plenty. Edited 29 minutes ago by NickelCity 1 2 Quote
Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago They really took over for Pats fans on the "this was their Super Bowl" dismissiveness. Nah. Not for us. It's just great beating you, and getting to 9-2, and watch our QB outplay yours yet again. 1 1 1 Quote

Right, like nobody thought that, it was more like yeah still got beat them when it all matters the most, but doing it now is nice too. 2 1 Quote

And don't tell them that for a Pacheco who they are expecting back, we are expecting back our stud LB Milano, Coleman, Kincaid, Brown. Not to mention a healed and learned-up Cooper. Quote
SoTier Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fans be fans. At least the Chiefs fans have a real basis for their expectations, quite unlike the fans of a certain NJ-based team who spun Super Bowl dreams based on the acquisition of an old QB and some old OLers. 1 Quote

There was a lot of complaining about Hollins not being called for OPI on th Samuel’s TD and then about holds not being called on Allen’s TD. This is hilarious because no offensive line has gotten away with more holds that the KC interior. Also, don’t for a second buy how players and coaches are downplaying the undefeated season - they totally wanted to go 18-0 just like how they want the three-peat. 1 1 Quote

BillsPride12 Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago Sounds like a group suffering from severe denial If they were being honest with themselves that team should have never been 9-0 going into that game to begin with 1 Quote

Sojourner Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago Every team has some delusional supporters in their fan base but these Chiefs really are morphing into Patriot-esque territory. What were they saying when the Broncos line gave them the whole left side for a block? What did they feel about getting a suspect flag for a win against Cinci? What were their thoughts about narrowly walking away with a win on opening night via a literal toe? How did they feel about needing the Raiders to have a tumble turnover and failed downs on back to back drives so they could secure a 2 score lead, narrowly walking away with another win? That fan base was pretty chill when they had Marty coaching all the way until the Mahomes/Reid combo. Weird how it did a complete 180 when Mahomes was anointed the GOAT QB. 2 Quote

I can't believe Brady is showing our entire playbook to our arch-rivals!!" is exactly what was going through my mind when we did like our 15th straight inside run for 1 yard on first down. 🙄 Edited 16 minutes ago by Jon in Pasadena 3 Quote
