They couldn’t get much of a push going in the run game at all. Now the KC DL is great so you can’t really hold that against them either but it is what it is.
 

Josh also was making them looking good by dodging Chris Jones every time he flattened Edwards, which happened at least a handful of times.

 

All in all, it was a solid performance against a great defense. And I think this OL has an argument as the best OL in Josh’s career here. I don’t think they are elite by any means however. 
 

Will probably be unpopular, but that’s my take.

I thought they were good (again), but my post wasn't about Chiefs game. I just think Beane, Kromer and players deserve some praise for the overall OL product last 2 seasons.

I questioned the positional value of the signing, especially with other players like Benford, Bernard, Rousseau, etc. coming up soon. I had zero doubts about Brown's talent. He's grown to be a very good RT and is critical to our run scheme.

The OL has played very well this year AND has depth, props to everyone involved there.  To handle the Chiefs the way they did with a starting T down and losing Dawkins for a minute in the game, was super impressive.  I like the T depth a lot.

 

my apologies to Mr Van Demark for my preseason statements, I won’t be surprised if he’s the future at LT here.
