LabattBlue Posted Monday at 06:56 PM Posted Monday at 06:56 PM (edited) Benford, Bernard & Shakir will all be FA after 2025 season. Likelihood that all 3 get signed to extensions? A case could be made for keeping all of them in the fold. Edited Monday at 06:56 PM by LabattBlue 2 21 3 Quote
somnus00 Posted Monday at 07:00 PM Posted Monday at 07:00 PM (edited) Beane likes to sign his own. Draft and develop. And these guys are all "Buffalo" guys. Edited Monday at 07:02 PM by somnus00 4 Quote
Poleshifter Posted Monday at 07:01 PM Posted Monday at 07:01 PM Hell yeah! Each one has proven themselves to be excellent productive players. Yes, yes, and yes. Thank you. 2 1 Quote
Eastport bills Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Posted Monday at 07:02 PM No brainer and while you’re at it, resign Williams. 2 Quote
Chicken Boo Posted Monday at 07:03 PM Posted Monday at 07:03 PM Shakir will be interesting. He's going to command a healthy price tag and the Bills should absolutely pay it. 2 4 1 Quote

Can't wait until the heads on the this board explode when they re-sign Cook as well. Don't forget Torrence and Groot have only one year left on their rookie deals. Torrence (2025 - $9.385 cap hit) is also going to be extended. Groot has a club option for 2025 (13.875 cap hit) which the Bills will certainly exercise if they don't extend him as well. 1 Quote

strive_for_five_guy Posted Monday at 07:12 PM Posted Monday at 07:12 PM Why does Beane have to draft so well? 1 8 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted Monday at 07:17 PM Posted Monday at 07:17 PM Why do you think he had a roster purge this season? Players that need to be resigned over the next few years is going to be a tough task for sure. 4 1 1 Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted Monday at 07:17 PM Posted Monday at 07:17 PM Resounding yes. I’m never mad or upset with those players. They are as consistent as can be. 1 Quote
Simon Posted Monday at 07:18 PM Posted Monday at 07:18 PM I love Shakir both as a player and a person, but I'm not sure the Bills will be able to afford him. They are likely not going to break the bank for a slot receiver, nor should they, but it's also likely that somebody else will. 1 1 1 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted Monday at 07:19 PM Posted Monday at 07:19 PM Add to that list Groot! Quote
NickelCity Posted Monday at 07:20 PM Posted Monday at 07:20 PM Rousseau, Benford, Shakir and Bernard will all be resigned. Cook wont. 1 3 1 Quote

Re-signing Cook would be really silly but hey, at least we'll get to laugh about the reactions. Quote
Virgil Posted Monday at 07:24 PM Posted Monday at 07:24 PM Bernard is tough for me with his injury history. I think we give him a contract that gives us some fair outs. I also don't know if another team is really going to bid hard on him, as I do believe part of his success is system related. 1 1 1 Quote

He is on pace for about 1,000 yards and 3 or 4 TDs. That's pretty good for a slot receiver, but he isn't going to get paid like a #1 receiver, but I could see him getting 12 to 15 million per year. 2 Quote
Success Posted Monday at 07:26 PM Posted Monday at 07:26 PM I was just watching the highlights. Shakir, man - he was so good. And he does it every week. You can count on him for 7-8 catches a game, and his work after the catch is as good as anyone. He routinely gets a 1 yard pass and turns it into 10-11 yards, even when it looks like there is very little blocking in front of him. 2 Quote
