Picheko being out is a huge loss for them, and Kincaid/Coleman on our side is just as bad. I bet we see them again this year. Steelers and Baltimore look tough. And don't laugh... but here comes Miami. They will get a wildcard. Yes, Miami has such a track record of playing well in December, too. 1 Quote
uninja Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think yesterday two really good teams played each other and one team was just a tiny bit better. Bills exposed nothing. Going up two scores and keeping the ball away from him is the right call. Ya’ll saw how he just drove down the field in the 4th quarter to make it 23-21. You do not let Mahomes have the ball last if it’s a one possession game, ever. 5 Quote

The Chiefs -- who, mind you, are likely to have Hollywood Brown and Isiah Pacheco back in the playoffs -- were one 4th and 2 stop away from having a short field to drive for a game winning field goal attempt. I don't particularly think the Bills exposed anything yesterday. I think their all-world QB just made an all-world play, and had he not done so, the Bills might be 8-3 this morning. Its lookin somewhat doubtful brown returns and if he does he won’t be at 100% game speed I wouldn’t think. Schefter reported he’s expected to miss the regular season and Reid’s only real update was ‘he’s on schedule or maybe a little ahead’. If he miraculously returns very soon I think he’d have an impact going into the playoffs but that’s not lookin like the case Quote

When these two teams meet you expect multiple lead changes , good defense, a couple turnovers and the QB that has the ball last will likely win the game. McD knew kicking a FG to go up 5 while giving the ball back to Mahomes was a recipe for a loss. You may do that with many other QBs, but not him. You have Josh Allen- let him go get a W. I was surprised that wasn’t the gameplan at the end of last years divisional playoff. Thought for sure we’d get some Josh runs with an option to pass. Sean wasn’t making that mistake again. 1 Quote

After that, Eagles finished 1-5 and quickly exited the playoffs. The Eagles record had disguised their flaws, it was said. The 2023 Eagles reached a record of 9-1 with a points differential of 61. The Chiefs have managed to reach a 9-1 record with a points differential of 49...historically low for a 9-1 team. The Washington Post's Adam Kilgore has already identified the parallel between the 23 Eagles and 24 Chiefs. In KC's last seven games, three are divisional matchups. Four of those seven are on the road including visits to the Browns, Steelers and Broncos. The Chargers will catch the Chiefs and KC may well lose in the wild card..to a Chargers or Steelers team. So, like in 2023, the Bills have exposed a frontrunner that will stumble down the stretch. I think 30-21 was the playoff game this season. last year the eagles were 8-3 in one score games , this year they are 5-1 with the chiefs…all of their games were one score games late 3rdQ or later. over the years you e had teams be on the bad end of one score games. With most teams they are around 500 like 6-4/or 3-4. Thrn you have teams that have nifference of 3+ between W and L a fee irr all…a few years the Vikings for most of the year had wild one score games thst they tended to be on the short end, Russell Wilson broncos in his first year was like this as have the chargers have had close seasons. I think any resemblance between the Mahomes led, Reid coached Chiefs and last year's Hurts led, Sirianni coached Eagles is kind of coincidental. Part of it is the "DNA" (or the culture) of the team. Mahomes is "the Man", with a track record of coming up big in the biggest moments (sometimes with a little help from his zebra friends but). The Chiefs are rolling towards a 12 year stretch of winning records and a 10 year stretch of playoffs under Reid and 5 out of 6 years top-10 defenses under Spagnuolo. It's a little harder to derail that than it is to derail the Eagles, who change DCs like an influencer changes skirts. 1 Quote

I think the fallout from the passing game not being as good is gonna cut into Pachecos effectiveness too Watson feels kind of like a retroactive excuse on behalf of the kc media haha I really don’t think he’s night and day better than Chamarri conner.. that’s not really close to the bills being down Spencer brown/matt Milano/kincaid imo or playing with freakin aj klein at mlb in the playoff game 😂. Mcduffie probably has to move outside more to make up for sneed being gone which seems like it’s more of the issue and doesn’t have much to do with injury. I think cooper kind of forced mcduffie out of the slot in this one have to rewatch though Edited 2 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

It does seem like their secondary has been more susceptible since he’s been out. Could be coincidence. Yeah I doubt Brown or Rice makes it back. This could be the year for a new AFC representative in the big game. 🤞 Quote
