I saw McVay wrinkles from day one honestly

I never saw it as a complete rip-off as shanahan's offense ... It had a base of it but there were differences

Hmm. I think it was very similar. And it took him a year to re-imagine his run game once teams got to the code to shutting down the outside stretch zone.

Again being very similar is different than a carbon copy

If I had 10 hours to break down film with you and show you differences in there checks and tendencies and alignment and personnel usage it would be show the difference

The way you worded it makes it sound like shanahan disciples just leave with a copy of his playbook and directly implement that which doesn't happen that simply

Kyle shanahan's offense is not Mike shanahan's offense, and Mike's was not Walsh's

Football guys learn and adapt and grow... Does mcvays offense have shanahan's fingerprints on it.. yes

Is it a direct carbon copy.. copy pasted from shanahan to LA with McVay with zero growth

No

You would think but it's hard to pass up the big payday and turn down your dream job as an NFL head coach that he has been working so hard towards for so long.

You never know when that opportunity will come around again and it's hard to just put it on hold, but depending on what team it is, he should definitely consider it...

There's only 32 head coaching jobs. So it is hard to pass one of those up. Of course when you are in a good situation like Daboll was in 2021 or Ben Johnson was in 2023 you can be selective but if teams call up for Brady he has to take the calls and consider anything as far as a HC opportunity goes.

a great WR is always great to have...

What does a great WR do?

Always open, catches everything, never complains, constantly makes plays, great teammate.

We have one of those right now in Shakir.

I'm pretty sure we're better off with this years WRs (Cooper, Shakir, Coleman, Samuel) than last year's WRs (Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Sherfield).

I'm pretty sure the Bills don't need and I don't miss Diggs' thinly veiled petulance and constant drama.

I'm pretty sure Cooper and Samuel and the current guys are far more team oriented than Steph was or will ever be.

I'm pretty sure Josh has grown into the bona fide leader now that Steph is gone and he doesn't have to worry about feeding an aging diva who doesn't produce in the playoffs.

Too bad Brady will almost assuredly be a Head Coach somewhere next year as the "hot candidate" along with Ben Johnson for all the openings there will be.

I don't think that is a given - especially in light of how Daboll did in Jersey. People might think Josh makes the OC and not vice-versa
