I'm just saying that this is a lovely time to be a Bills fan, and being on the other side of hopelessness is a damn good feeling! I wish there was. I’m not impressed as of yet 1 Quote

Jets don't typically draft QBs well. The Jets might draft the right qb but as usual the organization will ruin him. Very similar to the Bears organization. 2 Quote

The 2025 season will be a tank season for the Jets. The bill for their "superbowl" roster is due and they further exasperated the issue with kicking Rodgers money down the line. If a QB isn't there (and it seems unlikely).. I suspect they take the best player and will roll with some flavor of Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis while getting into the Manning sweepstakes. That sounds about right. I'm just glad they aren't in good position to get their top choice. 1 Quote

I think that he has the potential to be as good as Brock Purdy, however I would like to know how @GunnerBill and @BADOLBILZ and others view this kid. He's a better prospect than Purdy it's just that what Purdy does that makes him good at the pro level is really hard to identify at the college level. The college game is a lot more about the physical tools. There are plenty of excellent college prospects at the QB position coming but this isn't a particularly good class, IMO. Some of these class of 2025 HS kids are going to force currently good QB's to change teams in the next few months. Transfer portal is going to be crazy at QB. 1 Quote

It seems that there are about 10-15 really good players worth drafting and not a whole lot of mid players and a whole bunch of subpar with QB's not real worthy of going in the first IMO I agree here... and I think that the Jets will make a move to trade up for a QB and fail again... it just makes sense... its the Jetsy thing to do... The Bills ended the season at #21. They moved up twice to get to #7. After seeing that, there's no excuse that a QB is out of reach. If you believe in a QB, you do whatever is necessary to get him. Look at the Giants. They only wanted one of the top 3 QBs in this year's draft. Meanwhile, Denver drafted Bo Nix & he's winning games & nobody knows yet how good Pennix may be. The Giants let at least 1 good QB go by for whatever reasoning they had. Now they are in big trouble. When it comes to QBs, teams have to do whatever it takes to get the guy. The Bills problem was between Polian & Beane the GMs weren't ready to make the big moves-they were too cautious (or in Whaley's case too reckless-giving up a lot for a WR when better players at WR were available at the Bills draft spot). Donahoe wanted to draft Roethlisberger, but didn't offer enough to get him before Pittsburgh drafted. I can't imagine Polian or Beane being scared off by the price. Many people who use the Jimmy Johnson chart blasted the Bills for giving up too many draft points to get Josh Allen. Edited Tuesday at 10:01 PM by Albany,n.y. Quote

The Wiz Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM Pretty sure there isn't a top 10 (even a first round qb) in the draft this year. Pretty much all of the QBs that could be coming out are above average to good. Nothing that would really make anyone move up to get. Someone will draft a QB in the 1st round. I just don't think there are any that are worth it. Quote
frostbitmic Posted Tuesday at 10:29 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:29 PM Jerruh and his Cowboys will draft Sanders in the 1st and within minutes announce that they've signed his Daddy Prime Time to be the new HC. Of course it being late April he has slim pickings at a coaching staff but Jerruh gets his man. 1 Quote

mannc Posted Tuesday at 11:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:32 PM I'm pretty confident that the Jets will end up with a top 3 pick with which to choose a QB. Today's replacement of the GM probably signals the franchise's intent to tank the remaining games on their schedule, just like when the Bills canned Rex before the last game of the season when he said he was going to play Tyrod in an effort to beat the Jets in the meaningless season finale. That loss put the Bills in position to draft Pat Mahomes, BTW... Quote

I had no idea the hatred Saints fans have for the Colorado coach (he came in as a Falcon). Quote

Cousins has always chased money, and at this point in his career, he's been in enough locker rooms to handle the New York circus. Darnold has experience there; he probably still has a bad taste in his mouth, though. I wonder if Love would go for the money, knowing it's likely going to be a terrible situation, at least in the short-term. Quote
