The Jets currently have 8 teams ahead of them in the draft order. The Dolphins are outside of the top 10. New England seems to have their QB, already.

Basically, nobody in the AFC East is picking a top-of-the-class QB, this year. It's like watching us wither at a .500 or so record for 17 years: Never bad enough to get an answer QB; never good enough to make a squeak in the playoffs.

I'm just saying that this is a lovely time to be a Bills fan, and being on the other side of hopelessness is a damn good feeling!

I could see the Jets making a big move up for a QB, especially if Rodgers decides he's had enough "Jet Life"

But I'm ok with that. Jets don't typically draft QBs well.

And that would cost them assets they need at other spots. *Cough* O-Line *Cough*

Honestly, the next draft will by far be one of the worst for any team to pick a QB.......there's not a whole lot of splash players to choose from.

It seems that there are about 10-15 really good players worth drafting and not a whole lot of mid players and a whole bunch of subpar with QB's not real worthy of going in the first IMO

Allen was the 3rd QB selected in his draft at #7....

The Jets are in position to possibly find a good qb, I don't think Miami wil be looking 1st rd

Kind of reminds you of the Geno Smith, Ryan Nasib, EJ Manual, Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley draft of 2013, accept the Bills were desperate for a QB and reached badly with EJ

I have to admit I know little of this years college qb class

As of now, Shedeur Sanders & Cam Ward are the top-2 QB prospects, and they'd both be well behind the first 3 QBs drafted in 24'. I don't see a true frachise-changer in this draft.

Sanders is supposedly already tweeting Raiders hype, which is not the greatest thing character-wise, since it seems really just based on him wanting to get into the Vegas scene. His college team has a chance to make the playoff if they keep winning, and he's already thinking draft.

Start the groundswell rumour now at the Gang Green message board:

How could Woody not like that?!

I would love for the Jets to continue their mediocrity by signing Kirk Cousins

And any team that drafts Shadeur Sanders along with all the hype and his narcissistic father deserves what they get

I don't think the decision is going to lie with Rodgers. Whoever the new GM and HC will decide his fate. I think Douglas is also gone after this year.

I think the Pats like what they have with Maye. Unless Tua gets hurt, I don't see the Dolphins going for a QB in the 1st round. The Jets are the only team in the division that I could see going for a QB in the 1st round. Need them to win some games to get to 6-11, 7-10 which would keep them away from the top of the draft.

I think that Jackson Dart from Ole Miss is good enough to be a successful NFL QB. I think that he has the potential to be as good as Brock Purdy, however I would like to know how @GunnerBill and @BADOLBILZ and others view this kid.

I haven't properly looked at him to be honest. I've only seen tv highlights. I will let you know once I have got to work in the new year.

The Dolphins and NE believe they have a top QB already.

The 2025 season will be a tank season for the Jets. The bill for their "superbowl" roster is due and they further exasperated the issue with kicking Rodgers money down the line. If a QB isn't there (and it seems unlikely).. I suspect they take the best player and will roll with some flavor of Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis while getting into the Manning sweepstakes.
