I was really upset for a few weeks after the loss last year...I told my brother I think we're losing a tough game because are back 7 was so banged up and Von Miller was still working his way back. 

 

I truly believe if just Gabe, Benford and Bernard were healthy we would've won the super bowl 

 

Kelce had 2 catches for 8 yards today. That's how important Bernard is. 

 

Losing Bernard and Benford last year especially in the last two frickin games was brutal 

That's what is so exciting about this year. We have the division locked up and if need be can rest ppl. 

 

KC resting everyone especially Kelce in the last game last year, creating a defacto bye week, was massive in their super bowl run.

having to play wildcard weekend didn’t even affect them much because that dolphins defense was so comically injured that there was no way they were losing that game. Their path to the afc championship was kind of ridiculous I don’t think the bills and dolphins combined could’ve fielded a good defense with all those injuries

Matt verderame from Arrowhead addict said he literally made some hot chocolate and fell asleep during the KC/ Miami wildcard game lol. One of the most boring playoff games I've ever seen 😂 

 

That game was such a joke. I had zero doubts KC was winning easily.

Completely independent of the bills I really don’t know if the chiefs are gonna pull off the divisional round win if we end up the 2 seed and they’re the 1 so it’s hypothetical in both directions lol 

 

that chiefs Steelers Christmas game should be really interesting.  Coin toss win over an ok bucs team followed by that walk off blocked fg win against Denver followed by getting outplayed by a pretty banged up bills team is not feelin the same to me as years past for them but you never know.  Really felt like the bills left a good amount of points on the field in this one and only briefly trailed by the smallest possible amount

It was never closed. It is open less wide than it has been IMO, and I still think that. Bringing Amari in opened it a touch more. Maybe I have even more confidence after last night too. I think it will be open wider the next couple of years as they develop and hopefully add to this young core, but you always have at least a punchers chance while you have Josh Allen and who knows maybe this is the year we get a bounce or two of the ball in the post season? I always remember Tony Dungy saying he thinks the Colts team that finally broke through was one of his less talented rosters, but they had a unity, a cohesion and a bit of luck that previous Colts teams didn't.

last year they though Jets woukd compete before Rodgers blew out his knee.  I understand some thinking you put in Rodgers in,instead of last years QBs shoukd improve the teams record by 3-4 games

It was never a rebuilding year.   The media said it,  for a number of reasons,  most of which were not logical,  and a bunch of fans latched onto it because they wanted to lower the bar for the team.   Fans can be funny like that.    A majority of TSW posters thought 2017 was being set up to be a "tank" season by McBeane.   It was rather obvious by the extremely veteran roster that they took to camp that they were just going to try to Jauron Ball their way thru the schedule but anticipating an intentionally crafted 4-12 season made it easy for fans to lower expectations and potential disappointment.

Beane said it was a transition year.  Nothing to do with the national media, we lost many key players this past offseason. 

The window with the 'core' is closed,  but a different window opened.
