If I was McDuffie, I'd want to be outside. If he can play at an good level while being an elite slot out there it makes that 2nd contract up there with Surtain and Lenoir versus the top Slot guys.

There is a fair gap between those two though isn't there? Surtain is $24m AAV. Agree though for earning potential he should want to be outside and with Watson out they are gonna need to use him there I think.

Most fans should take a page from Allen’s post game interview yesterday. He knew as great of a win as it is, it’s still a week 11 regular season win. The tough work is ahead.

I'm pretty sure that Milano's 21-day window ends on December 4.  I don't see him activated until after the 49ers game.

That gives him a couple of weeks to get his sea-legs as a backup for the Rams/Lions.

 

I'm expecting him to start by the first NE game, but maybe if all goes well, he plays a lot of the Lions game at the earliest.

There is but its to me about okay thats what the going rate is for a guy whos in his mid 20's. So the top guy is getting 24 and Lenoir is roughly 18 but slot guys make much less as you know. If he can play there I think he gets closer to 20 or 21 but will the Chiefs be willing to pay that? Veach has a history of not giving DB's 2nd contracts. I just don't know if the Chiefs can afford to do that.

I think he will ask for Surtain money. I don't think he is as good as Surtain.

However you can make a reasonable inference that if the Bills were healthy on defense that it very well may have determined the outcome.  The game was a coin flip as it was with the depleted defense, if Allen had been hit by Tony Jones just 1/4 of a second later that’s a TD to Shakir in what could have been the game winner.

 

So to believe that Bernard, Taron, a healthy Rasul, Milano among others wouldn’t have made a slight difference is silly.   
 

Bottom line they didn’t get it done but they lost by just a hair and the hypothetical being posed is if the Bills defense had been healthy they would have won, while there is no way of fully knowing, I absolutely do believe they would have won.

I 10000% believe this is 80’s Jordan.  Couldn’t beat the Pistons than finally does and goes on an historic run.  Buffalo faces KC in the playoffs.  Buffalo wins.  Allen moves to 5-4 all time vs Mahomes.  Allen and Buffalo bring the Lambo to Buffalo

I agree.......also let's not forget that Douglas was out, Benford got hurt in the game, DaQuan Jones was playing with one arm, and Von Miller was not anywhere near the level he is playing right now.....right after that playoff game, I said the Bills would have won with a healthy defense, and the performance in this game was all the proof I needed.

This game showed that if we hadn’t converted 4th and 2 we probably would’ve succumbed to the same fate as last year where we settled for a FG and then got scored on to lose.

Wait so now even fans can’t celebrate wins any more? We are just fans, we are allowed to celebrate big wins a little bit extra. The players should stay a more even keel, I get that, but no, fans should celebrate these wins. Isn’t that part of the fun of being a fan?

My guess is he’ll play vs SF off the bench on 3rd downs and passing situations. He’s back baby.

 

I also think we got a little glimpse vs KC of how Dorian Williams will remain a huge factor. He has great speed and can be used as a blitzing LB. The Bills could use a 3 DL and 3 LB personnel package a lot coming out of the bye.

Maybe I'm wrong but I see it totally opposite.

Milano has been gone for so long and he is coming back from the injury faster than expected that they will have him use the

entire 21 days before activating him to the 53.

Hard to extrapolate a victory after that fake punt  disaster and missed chip shot. We were in shape to take a lead with little time on the clock but KC made a play and hit Josh on the throw into the end zone. This is a different team with better players and a better Josh.

That’s not what I’m talking about. It was a great regular season win and fans should celebrate it as such. I’m referring to all the talk about this win catapulting the Bills to a superbowl win or multiple superbowl wins even. This pattern has happened too many times.
